Sload: Another day I can't play PvP

Logged in yesterday for 15 min, got killed several times from different players wearing sload
Logged in today for 15 min, got killed by sload, sload, sload, sload

I tried purging it but get hit by sload sload sload sload

I guess Zeni really wants me to quit playing. I can't freaking play my NB anymore.

wrobel himself cant understand how we cant heal through this setup when theres some people who have had it apparently reaching 8k damage with help of cp and sets.

Crap that is what Sload is used for? No wonder I cant craft it and sell it fast enough. So this stuff really does break cloak? That must be a bug. I had a discount on rings and necklaces today and they moved very quickly. Like skittles and Rum turn your head and they were gone.

Now I see why. Kind of a bummer it's broke the cloak. Any word on the fix?

Can you make me a necklace? =D ha ha? Trying to avoid this set as it's sooooOOooooo hated right now.

Man, there's a couple of other sets out there that break cloak, too, that are worn BY the NB. Vicecanon of Venom and Sheer Venom. People have been asking for well over a year, maybe 2, to fix this and ....nothing but silence.

Judging how Zos did nothing about Zaan, I'd say get used to seeing sloads, because it's not going away. It's the Zaan of Summerset....learn to deal with it, or just move on to another game if this one set is giving you this much trouble. We learned to deal with Zaan, you can learn to deal with sloads...and if you can't, don't know what else to tell ya. I just know it's highly unlikely they will change anything, at least while Summerset is current, and probably not even after.

I recall that was about the time I stopped playing in IC. Never really got back into it after the set was slightly nerfed.

are you trying to fight Groups or Zergs of people while you are solo?
i ask that, because that is the only way you would be having that much of a problem.

however, if you are trying to solo a group or multiple people wearing that set and they ALL are hitting you with sloads then yes you will die, and that is fair and that should be expected when trying to solo a group of people. but you would have died anyway by any set they were wearing, because your trying to survive a group of people fighting you.

I originally thought this to when I used it... but when I got on my sorc and realized that spamming healing ward wouldn't help it just drained my health and didn't affect shields... well yah.. lol

So after pvping over the last week in BGs and Cyrodil, I can honestly say that I haven't died in any situation due to sloads. And if I did, I was more likely than not already going to die.

Why is it hurting so many people so badly? I rarely see it having much effect when I toggle death recap. I can understand in BGs, but in Cryrodiil, I don't understand why so many people hate it. Unless there are a ton of people hitting you with it at once, it shouldn't be doing too much damage. That goes for basically everything...

Sh*t it's really annoying to see all that whining, you guys destroy NBs reputation (at least what's left of it) - and this comes from someone (me) who have spent last three weeks in Cyrodiil playing magblade.

I really enjoy it and find that sload is nowhere close as anoying as detection pots. With curse, purified light, sload, piercing mark or radiant magelight at least you know you have been detected, but detection pot gives no visible clues you're spotted.
Detection pots need visible clue, just like some patroling NPCs have (that circle around them) so at least we can react, we would know who uses det pot and where is our safety area.

That's the problem though. While I appreciate the effort this completely ruins pvp because we're forced to entirely switch our playstyles, classes, resource focus just to counter some stupid meta SET. It's just a banaid that quite frankly only supports this bs set and braindead design.

I use shields on my mag sorc, what am I missing? I die all the time as is usual in Cyrodiil, but I have only seen sloads cause the killing blow once or twice time. Several other times it's popped up on recap, but usually the damage is very minor. The most damage I see on recaps is still a bunch of reverse slices, sometimes a bunch of sub assaults, mages wrath, random various elemental damage, etc.

Also does anyone actually "stack" shields anymore? I keep one up because it's a necessity for most mag sorcs, and it also procs Infernal Guardian, but I rarely if ever "stack" them. Maybe in certain scenarios where my health is low and I need to keep popping them in hopes of healing. Stacking them just burns your mag pool super fast, even running Lich and potions.
