Is ESO a group MMO?

It was my idea that this game was not made for hard core MMO players and somewhat catered towards the "filthy casuals". Right now there is basically no end game solo PvE content other than maelstrom (oh how fun), in PvP there is pretty much no "solo" content. Sure you can run battlegrounds solo but from my experience im placed in matches with a group of 4 that 100% dominate nearly half the time (dont forget "unusually long" loading screens before and after). Solo is kinda fun in cyrodiil but its pretty boring since it mainly relies on baiting and drawing opponents, unreliable and doesnt make for engaging, fun gameplay. IC is the same as cyrodiil you can run solo but you have a even higher chance of getting zerged down because of tel var.
make a PvP zone/arena with no alliances, no groups, no nameplates, maybe inside of coldharbour?
new game modes: king of the hill, Last man standing, dodgeball, hot potato, infected/zombie (tag, but u stay tagged), im sure zos could add more variety.

You need to let 99% of the other mainstream MMOs know this, because they're all making a decent % of their content able to be played solo.
(Also, even if you're questing/crafting/grinding/farming/exploring solo? You're still doing it on a server with many other players. Whether you're chatting with them, competing/cooperating with them for quest mobs, or engaging in economic pvp on the auction house, you're playing with a massive multiple of players. Even if you never join an actual group.)3 -
Khumbu✭✭✭The old school group-or-die MMO is dead and has been for over a decade (sadly). This game can be done 99% solo, but that being said challenging instanced group content does exist.2 -
burglar✭✭✭✭A lot of people have soloed all the regular instanced dungeons, and some even soloed half or more of some of the veteran dungeons; and overland content is a joke to solo for anyone that is properly geared.
Then, in pvp, all you have to do is watch some videos by blobs, sypher, kodi... and many others and you will see that it is entirely possible to solo entire zergs. Granted, don't get me wrong, many pvpers will agree with you... many of us have asked countless times for ZOS to implement the fleshed out version of the justice system, which was cancelled, but had promised a lot of interesting pvp content. Because the pve players blame the pvp players for everything, I'm going to say it's the pve players' fault for the justice system being canceled. :P

No developer on this team agrees with you not one, that is why this game is so solo friendly, I say this as a co guildmaster of one of larger guilds on the NA server.
well to counter your im so high and mighty retort to him a mmo is a group ordeal as there are some people who do go through this game in groups of 2-4 sometimes being their friends or family.0 -
