I currently run 3 arcane on my magplar which is primarily used in pvp.
Now would using 1 bloodthirsty really be worth using..I currently can't see as it is

Imo bloodthirsty is now really a PvE trait. The OG would have been great for PvP, but now, not so much.

5% damage increase overall (minus what you lose from arcane ~ 1.5% @40k magicka/2k Spell Damage)

So ~3.5% damage increase if you never miss a hit.

EDIT: And that's if it's Legendary.

No, not worth it.

But as a Magplar, you should REALLY consider 3xSwift. It is basically permanent Major Expedition, for the cost of 2400 magicka. As soon as i get through the grind, i will be using Swift on almost all my magicka toons, since they are currently all addicted to Speed potions.

Other than that, Triune / Infused are your go to for PvP.

Stamplar too. It's a hard counter to snares, but I would use the third trait for resource/infused instead. Still gives you 18% movement speed which is 8% higher than some 5pc sets.
