I think the Fiction & Roleplaying section of the forums needs more stuff going on, so I'm thinking that maybe we, as a community, could write a story of sorts. The way I'm thinking this would work is if all the major decisions (such as genre, location, type of story and the like) are all made by the community at large. While we're deciding on those things, I'll be on the lookout for anybody who wants to help. Obviously we need a writer (I'll do it if nobody else will, but I'd rather someone with experience took the reigns in this regard), and...I don't know who else would be required for something like this.

Once we've got the main decisions out of the way, we'll have ourselves an "audition" of sorts. This is where all you lovely people out there would show off your characters for the story. We'll do the protagonists and main villain first, then we'll audition new characters in as and when we need them. Ideally, the story will eventually be full of a wide variety of characters submitted by all kinds of different people.
