Thoughts on Current State of Stam Sorc

I have made the thread to get a feel for how everybody feels about Stam sorcs. I for one think they are in a great, balanced place in both pvp and pve. I do wish they had some sort of ability that helps mitigate some form of big damage (think Blade Cloak) though. Other than feeling kind of swishy I am happy with the DPS this class provides. The DOTs/and AOE potential of the Stam Sorc may be unmatched. The only other class with more insane DOT dmg imo is the Stam DK, but Sorc has better AOE. What are your guys’s thoughts on Stam Sorc in PvE/PvP?

Norbi✭✭✭As a stam sorc main, I can tell you they're mediocre in PvE damage output, clearly able to get through the hardest content in the game but I haven't seen a stam sorc hit 50k dps yet and I don't think I ever will.
PvP-wise, which I can give a more solid opinion about being a PvP freak mostly, the class is really up there damage-wise with bursty nightblades and glass cannon mag sorcs. The only problem with them is that like you mentioned, nightblades have cloak, mag sorcs have infinite streaks and shields, wardens and templars have strong heals, DKs have unkillable/sustain ults while stam sorcs rely on mainly line of sight to survive, which imo is a bit unfair, especially if you get snared to death and can't even get the chance to LoS. It's literally the hardest class to 1vX with, unless you're facing light attack spammers. In my opinion, they clearly need a buff in survival, otherwise it's gucci.2 -

That said he is a BEAST in low level pve
