Murkmire's arena needs to be a duo arena, NOT a 4 player arena

    Duo would be awesome.

Stop the grind! Get rid of stupid events and daily-quest gallore. Get rid of "have a chance of 1 in a million to get a piece of 1 in 30 to get a stupid motif or pet... wtf..."
And at this point just remove all classes and have everyone choose their set of skills. then balance accordingly to skills always used vs. skills never used.

All those people complaining they can't get groups together....get in a guild. I mean wtf it's really not s problem there are always people needing stuff or sth.
Or wait till its weekly. Like vDSA last week. Ran it like 4 times just for the score.
    Just get in a guild.
    A Groupfinder for vDSA...wtf....

good for you, but that is not the point imho.

for solo "endgame" we got: MA and maybe some soloable dungeons
for 4 people "endgame" we got: hard mode dungeons and DSA
for 12 people "endgame" we got trials

I think we need more content for 2 people and most of the time I play I do so with my brother and I used to play with my (now ex-)GF. Iam german and play on EU servers and its certainly not so fun beeing forced to do voice-chat with a mixture of all kinds of languages (french, english, german, russian, italian....).

so yes for 2 people content (would also like duo-heists and sacraments).

Best would be if we could configure the content for the #1 of people, e.g. enter a dungeon/trial and decide: oh I want a strong challenge for 1 player (so you get vMA style challenge) or oh I want to enjoy the story of this trial with my brother (so easier 2 person trial that is on par with a non-DLC normal dungeon or something along that line). Obviously you would have to scale the rewards too (e.g. I do not expect purple trial gear from duoing/soloing, but some scaling rewards would be fine). As for leaderboards, I do not care for them anyway, but they could add separate solo, duo and group and raid leaderboards for all content with appropriate rewards for the challenge.

by the way, SWTOR went into that direction for their dungeons/flashpoint. If you go solo or duo you get some NPC companions that can be any role and help you and then devs just need to adapt the mechanics involving multiple people depending on the number of players.

It needs to be a four player arena because such a thing has a lot of depth to it. Build content that is going to last for years like vdsa has.

A two player arena is either gonna be way too easy which means it will become boring very quick, or way too hard for most people to clear on vet mode, then they will want it nerfed into oblivion.

I have no problem when its gonna be for 2 players. ^^ For a lack of content for 2 like you said, sure why not. I just can't understand the problem some people have finding groups.

Regarding the multi language voice chat, I'm german and EU Server as well and a german guild solved all my problems

i really hope they dont add another bis weapons these are just annoying to get, like seriously id just rather not have an arena then have something that otherwise might be fun killed by having to run it 100x to get whatever gear you need that isnt going to drop

grinds kill this game, they need to focus on fun/ replay-ability rather than forcing us to grind out *** thinking it will keep us engaged

more grind is not equal to game longevity

Ive still never done VDSA and haven’t even tried to get a group going there for years. The 1 time i did try it we got to final boss and i had to leave, thinking its ok i will try again soon. 3 years later still not been back.

I would love either a 2 player or 4 player arena.

I’m kinda leaning toward 4 player though.

Considering the devs have given numerous reasons against a 2 man arena (pocket healer anyone?) I would highly doubt they'd do it. Otherwise there would need to be A LOT of one shot mechanics and almost impossible to hold aggro on enemies.

When have the devs ever given a reason against two man arenas? Have I missed something? Also, what would be wrong with a pocket healer? Is being a healer or a heal tank a bad thing?

2,3,or 4-person I am excited for it no matter what. Here is to hoping it drops rewards that are actually relevant for end-game content.

While it would be cool to have a 2-person arena I always am up for more 4-person content.

Majority of game is 4 man. (I'll grant you a lot can be soloed by good players, but there's loads of 4 man stuff)

The time of 2 man has arrived.

Besides findhing a team, a duo arena would be something new and interesting and can encourage so many different combos, like a Tank/healer with full DD or Full tank with DD/Healer or Full Tank/Full DD with self heals or 2 full DDs with enough defenses and self heal.

So many options and unique stuff that can happen there

A duo arena that has a mechanic that divides the duo up at certain points, possibly tag team or the like. Would make the pocket healer or carries hard to pull off.

It could encourage actual hybrid builds, at least for the content.

Needs vet Maelstrom kind of difficulty to reward useful weapons.

Maybe have those awarded weapons pair/synergize with each other and be chosen by the players at the end. It could expand the bis table.

A 2-man arena would be perfect but as long as it's not another crap 12-man trial i'm happy really. We need more 1-4-man trials. A lot more.

I'd like to see 2-6, requiring a 2x3 man split or 3x2 man split at some point, to liven things up. Maybe even parts requiring brief solo with mechanics uniquely suited to any role.

It would be cool to have progressions options (literally door #1, #2, or #3, or combinations thereof) that allowed for different mechanics and requirements. You would get benefits and penalties (or at least forfeit alternate benefits) based on your choices.

I'd like to see puzzles and traps (real traps, not the BS "oh look, a trip wire or spike grate"), perhaps a playing field that actually shifts as things progress.

A proper gauntlet, with more involved than just tank & spank, stack & burn.

If done well, it would be worth the purchase price alone.

EDIT: Of course, entering with more/less people would scale accordingly and potentially change mechanics. Group combos could have separate leaderboard listings (2 man, 3 man, 6 man) and would allow groups of varying sizes to still participate.

I would love more 2 man content - or choose your group size. I think a lot of people play with their sibling, partner or significant other and don't want the hassle of having to drum up two or ten more people.

And it may not be "hard" to find a group, but it's hard to find a good group with the same playstyle and frankly, sometime I *just* want to play with my game partner .

DSA is not new at all, I think that’s partly the reason why it’s so hard to find a group for it. If they make it interesting with cool rewards I guarantee you’ll find a group just as easily as for dungeons. But I agree with you, the hardest part of DSA is finding group members. It’s mostly the master resto staff that people do it for, and even that isn’t absolutely necessary for a healer. If there is an incentive to do a content, people will do it.

I actually think they should make (v)DSA a queu-able thing for this very reason.

I wish there was 2 player option for pretty much every dungeon / trial with lesser quality drops so more people could experience the content.
