Biggest satisfaction with Summerset is the zone and architecture is amazing definitely the best looking zone in game makes places like Mournhold look like a dumpsite

Biggest disappointment aside from some balance changes seems to be just how weak the Psijic Order seems to be these guys can move heaven and earth they can manipulate time and space but they have trouble repelling
one sea sload and bunch of fishmen type creatures invading Artaum and the Ritemaster literally the strongest mage in the mundas gets mind controlled more or less by said sload I could go on
the order is just a fancy mages guild thats it.
Xbox One - NA GT: RebornV3x
I also play on PC from time to time but I just wanna be left alone on there so sorry.

    Dislikes:

    - More elves
    - Jewelry crafting grind
    - Nocturnal looks terrible. Also I never saw her as the invading wicked villain type of Daedric prince. Her role seems out of place - Mephala would've been the better fit as the betrayer, IMO.
    - Geysers: Little variation in enemies faced - pretty boring
    - Razum Dar doesn't recognize me from anything
    - Queen Ayren can't be bothered to make an appearance

Overall, among the three large expansions (I'm not counting Craglorn), I rank it behind Orsinium and probably even with Morrowind. I was fairly underwhelmed.

i found it less interesting then orsinium and that was a free DLC
jewelry crafting mats requirements are simply ridiculous
the new guild quest line is a go here touch that no real content, boring and it just takes a lot of time.
apart from the time spending running around tamriel the rest of the "gameplay" is maybe 4 hours. i don't think this qualified for a fee that steep.

overall i feel i paid mainly for jewelry crafting which apart from changing traits on my existing jewelry (which should have been a patch 3 years ago ) seems almost impossible to do. i dont see myself making any gold rings anytime soon.....

oh and it broke the game, new bugs and old bugs returning, also a huge performance drop overall.

i am very underwhelmed by this "expansion"

loving the 2h, staff and bows being a 2 parts of a set though, but that should have been a patch 3 years ago as well.

    1. Jewelry Crafting was introduced (Zenimax please consider adjusting refining and material acquisition rate for this)
    2. Psiijic Skills can be fun to play with
    3. Extra recipes to craft and new foods/drinks/potions
    4. New weapon and armor sets to craft. Albeit one, in particular, seems to be selling really well. So now I am having to gather more mats.
    5. Fishing is fun for me again
    6. The Delves are fun
    7. The Summerset main quest was interesting
    8. Darien
    9. The skill line quest(the final fight was funny)Ping Pong anyone?

What I did not/ do not like
1.Load screens that take 30seconds-2 minutes during the quest string. Totally ruining my story immersion.
    2. CTD then straight into the Zenimax DxDiag(Tell us what you were doing) several times a day.
    3. The Micro-Stutter experience.
    4. food buff oddities.
    5. Bretons (even the Nords do not like them)
    6. Meridia(poor Darien)
    7. No recipe for cooking Ginger Eared Kitten Pieces. This could have been a Bosmer Gold food. Similar to Ozorgas Bear Haunch.

Im new so i like everything the now but i had one huge disappointment with Summerset an glancing at comments it been stated.

First let me say it wasn't long ago i made first char on Xbox, i had just managed to finish my faction questline, the main quest and both mage an fighter guild quests an had basically just got i think 100 cp then Summerset launched on xbox.

The huge disappointment i had was after spending a fair few hours with Raz lvling as a High Elf sorcerer im greeted as a basic stranger an treated as such through out the chapter apart from when Darien appeared which tbh was nice, but all i could think throughout Summerset was well so much for being the Queens eye and champion and it just dampened the experience quite abit for myself.

I feel instead of serving some need that players could jump straight in at lvl 1 an do this content that it was put on some progression path where you do your faction an main quest then Summerset becomes available that the players would be better served with personal an relevant dialogue from returning an new npc, i understand why Queen Ayreen wasn't used and it zos own fault for getting the VA they did but it don't excuse the facepalm material of her "regent" not knowing who her champion is.

The small details matter and in this Summerset failed for me but that aside it's a beautifully designed island with nice delves i probably am told to visit to often but some nice climbs i've took just to sit an enjoy the view, so yeah beautifully designed

On a side note one thing i found awesome was the cutscene at start of the games main quest about the companions it a real shame there aint more especially going through the main narrative of chapters/dlc

    I like:
    - New skill line
    - Summerset looks beautiful
    - New armors/motifs are beautiful
    - Two-handed weapons finally use two set slot
    - Jewelry crafting
    - New music. I love new battle themes and menu music.

    I don't like:
    - How Nocturnal looks. She looks like normal players few months ago.
    - No new character slot. We have new tutorial, but not new character slot. Disapointed.
    - Lag
    - Long loading screens
    - Game freezes many times

Pro: Summerset is grogeous, its pleasing on the eyes and it makes you want to adventure around and find the hidden areas. The new armors/motifs are stunning, totally in love with the way they look, I really like the start up screen too and art work. I am quite enjoying the story of summerset so far :)

Con: Cyrodiil is a laggy, freezing stuttering mess, which forces me to restart the game. PVE areas has some issues as well, very laggy and stutters. I hated leveling the new skill line, people with multiple characters must feel my pain at this... ):

I liked the story (especially Darien’s return), and how certain elements of the game got a revamp to fit the progression (instead of dolmens we have geysers, for example). The WBs are tough and have interesting new moves, and although I haven’t seen much of the new trial, it seems exciting for groups to figure out and complete.

The scenery is absolutely beautiful, though I have to say the Altmer cityscape is a bit confusing to the navigationally challenged  I was expecting the more or less isolationist and xenophobic behaviour of High Elves to be honest, but I like the fact that it’s the same as everywhere else in Tamriel: where some NPCs are suspicious or downright hostile, but others are welcoming and concede that maybe they had a closed mind all along.

I didn’t mind that the Psijic Order wasn’t flashier; it suited their role of working from behind the scenes, and helping in discreet yet significant ways. And since the Psijic skills have such cool animations, Valsirenn fightning beside the Vestige looked very impressive and powerful.

In terms of housing, I think it's great there was a town option, and that later there will be a boat option for those who want more space to get creative, and both new furniture, as well as achievement items look good. I’m glad ZOS listened and added the little waterfall, it’s great to have a source of water for our houses.

The only things that were disappointing were the long-awaited jewellery crafting, which is mostly going to be useful for the transmutation feature, and the fact that Queen Ayrenn didn’t make an appearance during the quests--it would have been nice to see her again at the end of the story

Loved the lot of it, only grievance is jewellery crafting, I wish we could research one of each piece at the same time and that a hireling was available, mostly just the hireling though. Its a pain trying to get silver dust when all I keep finding is platinum

Loved the Summerset landscape and architecture.
Quests were better and more interesting than they’ve been for quite a while.
Darien!! Especially shirtless Darien doing push-ups. (I took a screenshot).
The Augur of the Obscure (awesome voice acting).
    The idea of jewelry crafting.

I hated the implementation of jewelry crafting, especially the issue with the upgrade mats. I feel especially sorry for new players who think jewelry crafting is just like all the other crafts...must be a shock to discover they can’t even make a green ring.
I hate the low drop rate on new furniture recipes and the elusive special mats required to make anything. As usual, furniture crafters are screwed.
The psijic grind gets old very fast. Boring. I doubt if most of my alts will ever do it.

Honestly the story was a 6/10 for me so that's pretty lackluster.
Performance improvements (xbox One X) I'm pretty much like giphy.gif

Changes to class all suck (DK perspective) I also don't expect much for the future.

Trial is awful and a lack of creativity like woah they make Destiny 2s raid lairs look like master pieces (That's saying something). I think the most recent example of what raids should be like would be Wrath of the machines raid, Kings fall, etc.

Still no new skills other than the awful grind/stupid way of earning said skill-line i.e psijic order.

Scenery looks nice & music is solid

lack luster new sets & some stupid ones

Overall 4/10 In my honest opinion. They could've done better but maybe I just hold game devs to a high standard since I believe in them to wow their audience. ZOS is just a company that seems to be un-able to WOW me; maybe a change in the games engine could make things smoother.

In addition to Nocturnal's appearance (although sexy, "you call *that* a daedric prince?), the fight itself was massively underwhelming. I suppose that's really a problem with my CP level... but for newer content all I could think at the end was... "all that for this? that's it? that's all you've got", I was expecting something more challenging for what is theoretically new end game content.

jewelry, what a pain.... like I know some of it was done to prevent 0 day masters... but... ugh... can you up drop rates for trait mats at least? maybe get rid of the silly no decon-items now? also, why can't I have 2 research slots going?

the actual psijic quest line? zzzzzzzzzzzzz. Please stop with the go find things all over the map quests... like who wants to collect lorebooks? or close a bunch of random time rips... boring! I'd rather to a go collect daedric hearts or atronach salts or something... anything... else... Honestly it would be so bad if you only had to do like 1 to get a level... and then made that 1 challenging... Go get the book at the bottom of this dungeon, go close this time rip with monsters spewing out... etc.

It's towards the end of the Gold Coast / DB quest lines. There are a lot of prerequisites to starting the Sweetroll Killer quest. I think it would probably be best if you looked on a wiki like UESP to get all the details.

The prediction in the Sweetroll Killer is one of the strands of the main quest's story line in Summerset. You might also want to look out for a set of 3 notes dropped around the place by someone from Vvardenfell. You have already done Vvardenfell, right?

I hated what they did with Raz, he just ran around shouting at people which just didn't fit with his character. He'd trick the information out of someone before just bullying them.

    Worst:

    - technical performance (I think there were like 5 or 6 loading screens in the Crystal Tower alone until you reached the top - seriously?)

    - Nocturnal looking like a cheap drag

    - most quests were really boring

    - tedious grind

    - Psijic Order: they're all a joke. At least how they're displayed in game. Plus maybe the worst kind of unlocking a new skill line ever.
