This is bad really bad. You can’t even start a fight without 10 people around you freezing and having to relog. If you die in a populated place after freezing you have to relog onto another character the relog back to avoid long loading screens. This is pathetic.
We want an answer as to why this is happening.
Morrowind. 1 CP campaign change had 200 qued on a Tuesday night. Took over a month to correct.
Clockwork city. Long load screens from performance update. Took two works to rollback
Summerset. Game breaking freezes. Constantly crashing. Still waiting for comment one week in.
Please fix this.
The people working on PVP are not the same people working on and implementing CS items.
Also it is possible the devs working on the PVP side do not know what the issue is currently and do not want to comment on the cause until they do.
These things are not always easy to fix. We need to be patient. I have confidence they will figure it out.

It seems incredibly unlikely to me that this freezing issue wasn't known to them. They had to do testing, they had to realize how bad it was, but they seemed to go "Eh, it's just PVP, we'll patch it later." in the end. It really shows a loathing towards the PVP community.

This kind of bug should be considered a showstopper to a lot of degrees if it's rendering the game unplayable. I imagine it would have been pushed back but they had to release for retail. =/Apache_Kid wrote: »It seems incredibly unlikely to me that this freezing issue wasn't known to them. It happens in PvE areas too.
If I had to guess their internal testing department is extremely small or non-existent.

Jessica just said in another thread that they have seen are post about the issues we been having and that they plan to have a fix going in later this month yay my complaining and everyone elses has prevailed lol
The difference between PVE and PVP? Exploit in PVE - they'll take the servers down to fix/repair it. Exploit in PVP? It may get fixed in 3-6 months. Like the current exploit that lets players walk through invisible walls and enter keeps. I've seen over a dozen plus people just walk through the wall multiple times. You can't even reliably report an issue like that. Each patch gets progressively worse and the last 2 chapter releases have completely broken pvp with not even so much of an acknowledgement from them and that's just rude to their loyal customers that just spend money on their latest chapter.
Could be its not even fixable. Consoles have a fixed amount of CPU and GPU power. The game keeps getting better while the consoles stay the same. Its possible they have taken the game past the capabilities of the consoles.

In what part of that update it was actually said that they know what is causing this? It was bad with Clockwork city update and pretty much the same again just and an diffrent "feature".
They said that "some performance fixes are upcoming later this month"... that's a diffrent thing than actually saying they know and are fixing this current "feature".
This was just posted on another thread by ZOS_JessicaFolsom:
Hey all,
We want you to know we've seen this thread and others like it, and your reports of performance issues since the Update 18/Summerset release. We do have some performance improvements coming with the next incremental patch later this month.
"Later this month" RIP PvP
