Non vet - when is it viable to start running non-vet PVE dungeons, pledges etc?

Does group finder put you with people of a similar level? When should you start running PvE content such as pledges, group dungeons, trials etc???

The dungeons unlock progressively as you level. So at level 10, go right ahead and start running the first dungeon that unlocks for you. The groupfinder will queue you for any dungeon you have unlocked, but your partners could be aby one who has it unlocked including a CP 750 player.

Okay, its a little more complicated than that, but not by much. Before you start your first dungeon, check which role you want to be. If you want to be a Damage Dealer, make sure you have AOE and single target damage options as you will face mobs of enemies and high health bosses. If you want to be a healer, make sure you have a resto staff and healing skills ready. If you want to be a tank, make sure you have a taunt skill equipped (Puncture from One Hand and Shield is the easiest to get).

After that, in the words of Ms. Frizzle: "Take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!" Normal dungeons can be a lot of fun at low levels and its a great time to start learning the dungeon mechanics.

    Pledges unlock at level 45.
Trials generally once you have certain gear for tanks or healers or a certain level of DPS for damage dealers. The level of DPS varies by trial so its worth asking what your group would like.

By all means, jump straight in at L10, and pledges at L45.

You're upscaled to CP160 anyway, and it's the only way you'll learn the mechanics and group synergy.

If you get started early, you'll be a much better player by the time you do roll over to Vet.

    Good luck!
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...
Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

This, jump right in its not dangerous. As other say it make you an better player and people are far more patient with low level players. Normal trials I would wait until cp160 and then start with the craglorn ones who are easy.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
