Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6

The 1-50 grind gets real tiring once you've done it a couple of times, that needs changing.

As far as I'm aware, each character a player brings to level 50 increases the enlightenment they get each day. I propose something similar for the 1-50 grind.

For each character a player raises to level 50, the amount of XP required for each level up to 50 is decreased by 10%, up to a maximum of 40% (with 4 characters at level 50). This is also applied to all skill lines that are progressed through experience points (i.e. class and weapon skill lines).

    That’s not right sorry.

Enlightenment is 400kper day. Doesn’t matter how many toons you have

Isn't enlightenment is 400k daily regardless? That being said leveling character to 50 is easy. What hard is getting guild skills and leveling them. And finding nice grind spot since they are all crowded.

Oh boy...if you think levelling a character to 50 is tedious, you should have seen how it was when each of them had to be levelled up to VR16.

I think 1-50 is paced just fine, especially if you use enlightenment and XP scrolls/pots. Any quicker than that you might as well be asking for max level characters straight out of the box...there would be no point.

Most people don't level many characters to cap, in fact judging by the polls I've seen here, 50%+ only play a single character.

Personally, I miss the VR grind of the past. It made you actually "care" about your characters more. Now days, I can be bored one afternoon, jump on ESO, and grind a brand new character to 50 and hit 750 CP instantly within a couple hours. It is nothing to level new characters now days, essentially making them disposable.

I'm going to agree with the others here. The 1 - 50 "grind" doesn't even register in the top 10 for the grinds that any given character has to do. Undaunted, Mages Guild, FIghters Guild, Alliance Skills, skyshards, other skill points, etc. All these things are arguably much more time intensive. I can understand if you're tired of leveling characters, but there are plenty of other grinds that I'd say are worse.

Also, your enlightenment is in no way tied to the number of character you have at level 50. What would make you think that?

To those talking about enlightenment, that only applies to champion points and not the xp for characters 1-49. Just a heads up to avoid confusion

    1. Enlightenment is the same (400k per day) regardless of how many characters you have
    2. If you start by focusing on getting skyshards and leveling the guild skill lines you need and *then* grinding whatever you have left to 50, you will likely feel it's less of a grind to get to 50.

Compared to the old days it is pretty fast, doesn't take very long at all. You can level up in a few hours grinding or even just playing the game normally in Cyrodiil, battlegrounds or any kind of quests only takes a week or two.

At launch it took me around 6 or 7 months playing almost every day in PVP just to reach VR2. We used to get very little XP from PVP.

Xp+ scrolls, xp+ gear, and mindless dolmen zergs not doing it for ya eh?

Maybe ZOS can make an instant lvl50 token?

I think it's pretty quick the way it is, the skyshard hunt is more of a drag but I run around farming anyway so it's not too bad.

I wouldn't mind a mundus stone that increases XP gain, mainly cause I don't feel like crafting training gear lol

I actually surprised ZOS hasn't added a way to buy a maxed character yet.

Yeah and I have lvled up 3 toons back then up to vr16... Also the old veternan zones difficulty, one group of mobs could kill me. It was a shock after hitting 50.
I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

No, it doesn't need changing. There is a game before lvl50, no reason to ruin it just because you're lazy.

You're forgetting the grind of all grinds...Horse training. That takes 180 DAYS!!! Only way to speed that up is to spend $$$ for the horse training scrolls.

It's always better to do the quest track as just grinding to 50 in skyreach or with dolmen will leave you short on skill points. You can easily get 30+ skill points by getting the skyshards and doing quests.
