Sound Issues

The following problem only affects ESO, does not happen on any other game (single player, multiplayer, or MMO), does not affect any app (YouTube, Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc), ONLY on ESO.
When I load up the game, I get sound (music, interface, etc) no problem, in fact, it's REALLY loud. But, when I get past Character Select, I lose all sound in the game from my TV. If I plug a headset (or even a set of speakers) into the 3.5 mm jack on the controller, THEN I get sound (both from the new output, but magically from my TV as well!)
Any ideas why? Wondering if it has something to do with the voice chat in ESO (which never seems to work very well), but it doesn't happen in any other game where there is in-game voice chat?

ZOS_BilladminThere are a few different settings you can check that could be the reason your audio is cutting out after the character select screen. Please try the steps outline in the help article below.

I switched servers, turned hdmi sound off then on, ran the cinematic, did another hard boot.
No idea which one of these worked but glad it did.1
