What issues do you still have with pets?

In recent times, what kind of issues happen with pets for you?

    Warden Bear doesn't automatically respawn when killed ( been a bug since warden release)
    AI is terrible
    Its slow - Spends all its time running to targets.
    Execute is useless in pvp.
    it even randomly disappears for entire fights.

    Sorc harpy takes up to much screen real estate
    Flaps about to much even when stationary ( why cant it sit like a normal harpy )

    PvP pet sorc since years here.

    The problem with pet is they are unreliable.

    Here is some exemple :
    1. You jump from upstair to downstair => Pets are stuck or lost or very far away
    2. You want to kite with rocks/landscape => Pets are stuck or lost
    3. You need to kite ennemies with streak => Pets are lost or far away
    4. You want to chase someone => Pets don't follow so they are stuck or far away
    5. You drop atronach => People go out of range, youhou you spent 170 ultimate for nothing.
    6. You survive an ultimate impact => Pets are dead, Your main heal and damage are locked behind 3s cast time
    7. You avoid the destro zerg => Pets are dead, Your main heal and damage are locked behind 3s cast time
    8. Ennemi take advantage of landscape => Pets can't go there and are useless/
    9. There is too much people fightning you => Pets are dead, Your main heal and damage are locked behind 3s cast time
    10. There is some nasty lag => Pets refuse to move and are useless
    11. To be continued...

    To make pet attractive and usefull, ZoS need to make them reliable :

    - Make the "come back" command (Y + right click) PORTING pets to you, it will solve 90% of problems.

    - Make pets more defensive by enabling DEFENSIVE CPs (only).

    that in their current state they just take up a slot for a skill that could actually be of use

    Blocking interactions with stuff. Can't turn in crafting writs because the deposit box is inside of someone's bear. A winged twilight between me and an enemy may also block teleport strike from working; could've been lag, though.

    The constant, nauseating movement of the winged twilights.

    Sorc pets are all ugly af.

    Steal heal and buff from player. That's the main reason people don't want my pet sorc in trials. In 4 man it's not an issue.

    Heavy attacks commanding pets is a pain for heal pets in PVP.
    I don't want them chasing a zerg. I want them safe, next to me.
    Minalan owes me a beer.

    Matriarch is too damn big and takes up massive screen space, especially in multiples. I'd like to see it automatically unsummoned in cities or at least indoors in city areas.

    You know there is an addon to keybind a means to desummon pets with the stroke of ONE key, right?

    For those who think pets aren't useful clearly haven't used the Volatile Familiar who has a very potent AOE. I also think some people playing pets don't like playing from range, because if they did, they'd appreciate how the pets can draw aggro which helps to keep you safe.

    Unless I can use the addon on the pets of other players, it doesn't solve my personal issue with it. Now if you're saying that such an addon exists, then I'll spend all day running around unsummoning the pets of sorcs who hover around the writ turnin locations for longer than it takes to turn them in.
