He's a Kiwi that has spent a fair bit of time in Australia. That much we can ascertain from the voice.

The Accent is def. a kiwi one. But there is an Australian spin on it.

Honestly, it's a Kiwi Accent but not the one you would get from a Kiwi that has spent their entire life in NZ. It's more like a Kiwi that has spent a lot of time in Australia.

It’s deffinately Warwick Davis, the guy has one hell of an IMDb profile if you fancy a read, personally he was by far the best bit... with the exception of a trail of rifts running across the midnight desert, that was one fabulouse a screen shot

I have a friend that grew up half in London and half in Los Angeles. Everyone in LA notices her English accent. Her friends in London say she talks like an American. Might be seeing something similar here.

On a different note, Is it possible it's totally a fake accent that an actor made up? Wouldn't be the first time.

I've listened to Warwick Davis's voice on a few Youtube videos and I reckon his voice is so similar, that it probably is him.

However, there is an inflection in the voice of the Augur that is definitely Kiwi, where the 'i' in words such as 'is and 'this' has a slight 'u' attached to it. (Think Fish and Chips pronounced Fush and Chups, but not that exaggerated.)

If it is Warwick Davis, then I don't know where he picked up the Kiwi inflection.

It's only in a few words so it's very slight and I can understand why someone (myself included) first assumed the voice was a Kiwi actor.

Warwick Davis does seem to have a repertoire of accents though. Quite the talent really.

I do hope ZOS can give us some light on this.
