You are right sir! If that kid (with 1 month eso general gaming experience) steals hes mommas credit card, buys crowns stuff and sell them for gold, so he can buy that popular OP armor set for NBs everyone talks about, he will be the god of pvp, everyone will shrivel in fear when they see him, even the other NB players (with 3+ years of pure pvp everyday 24/7 eso gaming experience) will die within seconds when they meet that kiddo... and u know why? Because he traded crowns for that gold, so he could buy/change to that exact same set and build the other top NB pvpers use, so he could come to the pvp arena ... *ehm* PREPARED as an equal to them, hes first day in pvp! And he completely blows their minds with hes powah! Because ... he found a fast way to get the gold for t.h.a.t. e.x.a.c.t. same SET that THEY use !!!so yeah ... shortcuts is lol pay to win, hard work and experience is overrated ... that powah lol..
in eso those type of armors and weapons don't exist.

If people want to sell crown costumes/pets/mounts in exchange for in game gold, who cares. Do you really care? Are you so mad right now that Joe over there is gonna get that mount you wanted but with in game gold he's giving to Bob in exchange for Bob paying for it with real money? How mad are you exactly about this? I need a picture here.
You weren't mad yesterday when Bob was selling gear he farmed at HIGH prices, for in game gold. THAT impacts your playing way more than this nonsense ever will.
*edited because I type too fast

These threads pop up constantly and are never close to describing a pay to win situation.

This is the most ignorant post on Pay To Win I've ever seen.
OP, do you understand what Pay To Win is? Do you understand how traders work in game? Do you understand how an economy works?
I don't think you do.

Nah, I thought the P2W whinging about the motifs in crates was bad enough.
This one made me facepalm so hard that my hand is now my face.

It would, if this meant you could get ahead in any real regard.
Gold can only do so much for you in this game. All the best gear is locked behind content.
OPs claim that this will tank the economy is just ignorance. Any gear you can buy for gold is average compared to BoP sets or isn't gear and therefore has nothing to do with "winning".
If anything, OP should be happy. Trading gold for Crown-items means less gold sitting in oldbies (goldbies?) banks; that means more gold activity in the economy, which means more gold spent at trading for goods.

Gold to bid on traders is the only way to sell to the entire population mostly lol.
