While they seem to be a bit more slippery since the buff to Shade, they seem to be weaker...
They appear to not be able to self heal as well and some of their attacks don't pack as much punch as before...Unyeilding Bias

Not at all; atleast not me...
I created this thread as there were a lot of calls to nerf Nightblades prior to Summerset...
Now that Summerset is here, and with it certain adjustments to the game, I am wondering if the masses out there feel that the changes have made a difference or not...Unyeilding Bias

✭✭✭✭Hard to say.. rollerblades are now heavily countered by the amount of sorcs running runecage, and by sloads.
But there are some insane amounts of damage coming from some builds that are very difficult to defend against (for shield users anyway)..
So all depends on the build/player.Minalan owes me a beer.

✭✭✭The nightblades are all getting murdered by the mag sorcs wearing sloads. I haven’t really noticed much of a difference, but I do notice the population shifting away from NBs and towards mag sorcs .
That must be the Stamblades. Because the MagBlades can still murder MagSorcs for fun.
I feel that I can generally take down any non-duel build (read: Pets and Blockade) MagSorc with my Cripple spam and equally strong burst. And If I front-bar Sloads, the normal built MagSorc is f***d beyond belief.
While on the other hand Sloads does nothing to my MagBlade that's got HoTs from Refreshing Path, Funnel and Rapid Regen coming in. Unless I'm being Xv1'ed of course and can't cloak because of Sloads, but that''s another problem altogether.
Life for StamBlades is much harder this patch though. Getting into melee range without a Sorc blowing you up is a major challenge especially in Cyro. Not complaining though. It feels much more challenging to play Stamblade now, which I found majorly boring before. There's others who have it a lot worse still. Try playing StamSorc or StamPlar where if a MagSorc just looks at you angrily you turn into meat pâté.EU | PC | AD2 -

wildbear247✭✭✭It has been easier to fight against Nightblades since the arrival of Summerset...As a cloakless stamblade main I definitely felt the nerf to crit heals in the Summerset patch. I've been tinkering with my kit and now after about 2 weeks I'm content with my damage output & durability again. Well stamblades never had good healing crit cloak was the best thing they have.Trollking kinda help survives sloads but not by much sloads kills 1vx on stamblades a bit since the whole point is to avoid damage sloads stops that a bit.More stamblades have to get used to it but the better ones will deal with itSomeone around always has sloads, and even the good nightblades are dying to it left and right because they can’t cloak.

Most nightblades think they gonna hit me with poison inj into ambush fear incap combos. This isnt 2016 anymore, you aint gonna hit me with that combo ever.
The scary nightblades are the ones who know how to heavy attack out of cloak correctly (if you dont know what i mean well...).PS4 NA DC2 -
