Who's more tryhard... the guy who runs in circles around a resource, or the 10 people who chase?

The ten guys who chase you all of the way to the other side of the map.

I waited to read this thread because I thought it would be funny, and I wasn't disappointed. I especially agree with #6.

    PS4 Vivec PvPer here.

The mist form dummy is the tryhard, because they aren't killing anyone. They're just delaying the inevitable, which is their death.

Every game has a problem with these hardcore types. They're a minority but they're loud enough with what they do to be a bother. It's why I don't tend to play the content they enjoy, it's not worth the stress. It's also why I prefer content they think of as 'easy' as they'll avoid it like the plague. Which means good times for everyone else.

If you're insistent on playing the content where they show up, that's just the price you have to pay. Generally, they just tend to alienate everyone else and make that content 'theirs.' That's why they were clamouring to do that with overworld content a bit back. Which was met with a very resounding, echoing NO from the rest of the community.

So, yes, the long and short of it is is that there isn't much you can do. If you don't want to be around them, avoid the content they play. These people always bring the League of Legends sentiment to every game they turn up at, and it's just super stressful. Better to just avoid them.
