So, Warden has been a class for a while

I also had the grey bear skin for my bear. What i don't understand yet is.....

When will we get more bearskins or other pets for the Warden class. I mean, you already have the assets. How hard can it be to sell a pet for Warden (or even sorc for that matter) with a different skin tone or even like a wolf for Warden?

I can't use non-combat pets in Cyrodill. Then please let me buy combat pets which i can use.

Maybe even have different shades for NB.

Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

I dont understand. Are you asking for just a skin? Or an entirely new combat pet available through the crown store? That my friend would be pay-to-win(or more likely in the warden's case pay-to-be-mediocre) and that would get a big no from me....anything that affects combat only available through the crown store. Personally I hate combat pets, cant stand the things, I think they are a crutch on a par with proc sets and am really dissapointed that they made the warden a pet class with crappy ice magic when they could have focused far more on the nature magic aspect(if they wanted ice magic they should make a frostcaster class)

ZOS doesn't care about the warden. They took our money while laughing all the way to the bank. Don't expect any changes or additions to the class.

They still only have 2% representation in endgame because they're so bad. ZOS hasn't buffed them once since Morrowind beta last year. All we've gotten are nerfs.

Any suggestions containing the word "warden" are auto-ignored by ZOS.

so if the don't care, why is the warden recommended so heavily for new players to lvl/pve/pve with? Asking cause I just started and went Warden based off info I got.

Because they want people to buy it. It's also fine for levelling. It's just a dumpster fire when you get to endgame. All endgame is still doable with a warden, it's just much worse than other classes in every role, hence why their endgame usage rate is so ridiculously low (warden is at 2% while all other classes are between 20-25%).

    Sounds like someone doesn't tank...

    or heal...

    or PvP...

but yeah they are the least played class BUT to be fair it is locked behind a paywall so there is a lot of bias in those numbers.

Stam Wardens are great for PvP! I have one and it is deadly with their bread and butter Sub Assault/Dizzy/Dawnbreaker combo. I'm not exactly sure what has changed with Summerset (gear and rotation wise) but I'm sure whatever you find will make you deadly (won't be surprised if you still find nerf warden posts in PvP :D)

But if all you care about is PvP then warden is a great choice. The reason most people say wardens suck is because 90% of people in the game are PvE dps, which is what wardens do worst, and they don't care about the other aspects of the game, which wardens do well.

So a few things. Im struggling with warden. i got 15 last night and have no idea if i should be doing 2h/bow or 2h/dw. because depending who build site you check they are all different.

Also struggling with my bars in general. I can only have 5 abilities to 1 bar but alone at 15 i have 3 2h abilities and 2 bow abilities. doesnt leave me room for the rest of what I think I need to lvl/pvp. not to mention Ults im super confused on..

Almost makes me rethink. did i pick the right class.

Please share with us your data that shows 2% of all end game is Wardens ... I’m sure the forums community and ZOS would be interested in the breakdown and content type.

In the meantime, I have 2 Wardens that play in end game content ... out of 12 characters. That’s 17% by my rough calculations.

In endgame vet trials (basically vAS+2, vCR+3, vHOF/MOL hardmodes) they are essentially unheard of - and even so, usually just done when content is on farm to say that they've done it. Literally approaching 0% wardens for guild-first kills of those trials. There is simply no reason to bring a Warden over another class, so on the very hardest content it's just making the entire groups life harder than needed.

They have 1.5% representation in vHoF, which you can't access unless you own the warden.

And they are worse at tanking than DKs and worse at healing than templars. And magicka warden is terrible in PvP too after the cliff racer and shalks nerfs.

There has never been a worse class in this game than the warden.

I cant care less about how a bunch of "elite" or a graph say, my warden tank is overpowered, and my healing is better than my templar which is my main, keep acknowledging what a handful of "elite" wannabes try to dictate and you will soon come across to a player like me who disregards what charts say and perform outstandingly everywhere i go in game, and in real life buddy.

Having your own opinion is nowdays the only thing we can brag about with kids these days.

I don't need to be top to enjoy a class, thats your problem if you are obssesed with the syndrom of acceptance bud.

Warden was designed to be a mixture of classes from the start, and it's obvious that they chose tank/healer. Realistically, any new classes that are introduced are going to probably be hybrids or support or fill in gaps in other classes. I think ZOS had the right approach with this.

Should they make it clearly out heal templars? Could you imagine ESO's community if they did? Look at how they flipped about shards loosing a stun. How about destroy DK's in tanking, though some groups are running with wardens, people would be pissed. Make warden the top dps and have magblade/magsorc/stamblade loose it. Of course, afterwards the community would complain about PTW ect. I'm sorry, but they took an approach that in terms of development makes sense. It can still be played at end game content

always cracks me up when people say "my warden tank is OP!" and just shrug off the overwhelming evidence that wardens are utterly terrible endgame. 2% raid representations is pretty obscene. of the top 200 vAS scores, TWO are wardens. don't you think thats a SLIGHT hint that maybe something is wrong, you really arent smarter than everyone else in the game??

    Sounds like someone doesn't tank...

    or heal...

    or PvP...

but yeah they are the least played class BUT to be fair it is locked behind a paywall so there is a lot of bias in those numbers.

They have 1.5% representation in vHoF, which you can't access unless you own the warden.

And they are worse at tanking than DKs and worse at healing than templars. And magicka warden is terrible in PvP too after the cliff racer and shalks nerfs.

There has never been a worse class in this game than the warden.

and worse at healing than templars. AHHAHHAHHHAHHA

worse at tanking than DKs BAHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHA

    tears.

But don't let facts get in the way of your ignorance.

    Good luck @MLGProPlayer

Put your money where your mouth is. If your warden tank and healer are "overpowered" and you are an "outstanding" player, surely you are atop those leader boards. You thinking that you're good at this game doesn't make you good at it. Performance is based on objective results.

I showed you facts. You responded with conjecture. That's not how adults argue.

Give them a goat skin. I know a whole army who would be interested.

I would pay up to 4000 crowns for a beta monkey guardian skin.

I would say my warden would prefer a dire wolf, then I remember it’s just an ice vampire solo build with no use for a double slotted glitch magnet, besides, I’m not giving up something that looks as funky as bats for that useless lump of sub par code

I do think ZoS does have plans for combat pets to have different skins, as we do have a tab for the bear in collectables, so the ground work/space is there for it to be added on. I just think there are other things planned before that.

Hey it might even be saved for when/if there is some major rework on classes, Might be able to change the colour of class abilities (which would be awesome!) hey in the long shot we might get extra class skill lines. Would be sweet! (I can dream people!! leave me alone!!)
