Starting up play after an extended break (and let me tell you I have an amazing amount of crowns!).
Just got Sommerset and want to actually start the game way back at Coldharbour soul shriven.
How can I do this? Step by Step if anybody can.

✭✭✭✭The only possible way I can think to do that now that they've gotten rid of the base game without the addition of Morrowind is to pester the crap out of the devs here in the forums, encourage others to do the same, until they give us back the core tutorial as a clickable option.0 -

Visit any of the base game cities and you will get accosted by a stranger
They will point you to a location in your factions first town & that will start the current version of the cold harbour start“Be as a tower, that, firmly set,

✭✭✭✭✭You have to complete the new tutorial. Then wayshrine back to your alliance's starter city and talk to the Hooded Figure. Follow that short quest amd it will lead you to the Wailing Prison to start the Main Quest.1 -

✭That is what happened to me in Morrowind. I am sure it can be the same for Summerset but I haven't tried it yet. So what ever Alliance you are in, go to that city you would start in. As soon as you get out of the way shrine a Stranger in a Hood will ask you to speak to someone. That should start the quest you are seeking.
I only know for Aldmeri Dominion. If you don't see the Hooded Figure go straight down to the ship that you would normally come off from. She should be sitting down eating with someone on that ship. So go straight down, onto the ship, turn right and go up a bit and you should see here sitting down.
If somewhere else I am not sure how it is since I only done AD for now.Not my quote but I love this saying
