I don't know how outfits works so don't have a clue how they work. I see they are on sale and I don't have anything else to buy I was wondering if I should pick them up. So if I do pick them up what do I do with them?

Change tokens allow you to ignore the gold cost of one outfit change. Tokens are not character bound and can be used on any character.

Outfit slots add one slot (up to 10 total) on whichever character you purchased the outfit slot on. Slots are character bound and cannot be transferred to another character.

I have 4 characters using outfits. Personally, I dont think buying tokens are worth it- not even on sale. One outfit per character is enough for me and Id rather use gold than crowns to make these purchases. For some more info on outfits, you could check here:

An outfit slot allows you to completely customize the way your character looks by mixing and matching any armor styles you've learned. It's purely visual, it doesn't affect the stats of your armor.

Everyone has one outfit slot per character by default. You can buy additional slots in the crown store - this will allow you to quickly swap to predefined outfits instead of manually switching the pieces. Nice to have if you have a few favorite outfits, but the problem is that the slots are expensive and not account-wide (they're active only on the character who bought them).

Changing an outfit piece costs gold, depending on the rarity of the style you want to use. You can curcumvent the gold costs by using an outfit change token from the crown store.

The only time the outfit change tokens are worth it IMO is under 2 scenarios. First, you got one on sale, and second, the outfit you want contains all of the latest motifs. It seems that the more recent the motif (and perhaps the rarer the dye), it costs more. On one of my toons, the outfit was going to be around 30k, so i bought one on sale and went for it.

Unless you are really into RP, i dont see much of a reason to to have multiple outfit slots per toon. I bought and extra slot on 2 of the characters that I play the most, and havent even touched them yet.
