    you want harder?
step 1: use non set gear
step 2: use non purple gear
    step 3: remove champion

But why? Games' difficulty sets by developer, not by gamers.

But that’s actually the first experience a new player gets.
I just created a character on NA servers without all those bells and whistles. It’s definitely a difference and while not hard, you have to pull mobs carefully. Especially in the beginning, not having shields, stuns etc.

After level 15, no matter what gear and cp you have everything is a faceroll. Everything dies in 2-3 hits there is no danger of dying except if you pull 20+ mobs and have no heals/potions equipped. Even the bosses in delves and the ones at the end of the quest usually die in less than a minute.

Then why did i die inside a public dungeon 3 times tonight on my cp120 templar, all blue gear?

Because you've no idea what you're doing. You either have extremely low damage, no sustain whatsoever or just don't interrupt the boss at all.

And mobs will still not have any mechanics. Gimping your self doesn't make it harder, it just makes everything take longer. Dumbing down your own playstyle makes the problem even worse in my opinion.

ROFL! Really? But that is exactly what 'harder' does... it makes everything take longer because it's... wait for it.... HARDER. So you want more difficulty which would make everything take longer... and you think everyone would like this? Right now, having played ESO for over four years with multiple characters... I'm currently playing through a Nightblade so I can SKIP the majority of mobs because I absolutely hate spending so much time on dealing with mobs. NO THANKS to make it even more tedious and time consuming to get through simple quests.

I imagine most of the players asking for this are not players who spend their entire time in ESO questing on multiple characters- if they were- they would appreciate the ability to cut through overland/quest mobs quickly by their tenth+ character.
