besides of point 1 which seems to be of no concern to me I agree.
However overall I am very happy with the entire expansion, the lore, the music, the architecture of the cities and delves and the overland world is really awesome and I am looking forward to the next expansion.
Once again thank you ZoS, well done!
For the future I hope that we see some adjustments concerning the CP creep and larger trials.
In all the promotions and hype they did build her up. they also kind of gave the impressions that she may have been against Ayrenn. I got kind of sinister vibes from the Proxy Queen's promotions. Maybe that she was truly on the side of the purists. Even during our interactions with her, she was almost sickenly "good". Which at first I thought was just a cover. but it turned out that she really just does whatever Ayrenn tells her to.
I was actually hoping she would turn out to be an antagonist. So yeah, the proxy queen was a bit of a let down.
And i agree that she should be there after the main quest. Would have been cool if she had given out dailies.
In general we had barely any contact with all those hyped up npcs.
House of reveries had one main quest but otherwise you only interact a little with them in a half dozen quests.
Proxy queen had like 2-3 interactions which didn't last longer than 5 minutes.
The divine prosecution didn't do anything special at all. Might as well used generic dominion guards instead.
Sapiarchs were basicly a plot device to make the psijic order look more competent, but when you have to deal with 3 daedric princes and sea sloads that falls flat.
According to archivements summerset had one more quest than morrowind, but those were basicly all small sidequests compared to multi chain quests of vvardenfall.
Atleast the main story was pretty strong which is a rare trait for elder scrolls game nowadays, but pretty short.
I was disappointed that we didn't get to interact with Proxy Queen Alwinarwe more. From the promos it seemed like she would be a major characetr in the dlc
Didn't know where to put this tribute, so I say it here. I'm only starting to explore Summerset, liked many things about it, but there's one little thing I absolutely love: mention of a heroic goat from Skyrim in one of the quests. It so happens I've never played Skyrim, but I watched my friend playing and there was indeed a heroic goat who fought alongside the hero! Never a coward, attacking all enemies etc. Just lovely to see a reminder in ESO. Great job, authors of the script!
I love it and am happy that we are about to enter full release so the console players can finally enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Summerset. I've stopped charging around the last couple of days and just gone off exploring and admiring the scenery. The only issue for me is I don't want to leave, the rest of the world pales in comparison.
