2h/staff sorc question hear me out

Ok so I want to use 2h because of critical charge but everything else will be strictly magica base.. my question is will it work? charge in and unleash chaos i eas thinking of a high elf because of magic damage is higher anyway and using a resto on my back bar for everything else.. I don't see why it wouldn't be a good build but I rather hear it from the experts first... maybe even a darkelf ?? Help will be very appreciated

Everything can 'work' depends what you need it to work for!!

For PVP im still a MagDW Sorc fan boi (till Summerset lol) and 2H instead has a few cool things going going for it. Still gets the damage, will have the 2 set pieces, and forward momentum.

The majority will tell you its a monstrosity as the Wizards with wands route is prefered. But all ill say is a I know a few rocking 2H

It's down to you, what you wanna achieve etc

Yea but will I be seeing great number? Will I be good in PvP with this? Or soloing skyreach. Things like that..

Please tell me how this works out if you use it for pvp, I have been curious about making a build like this, although high damage magicka abilities are limited, you could use dark deal to keep your stamina up for charges and dodge rolls.

In the previous patch I often ran 2h/resto stam build but now I have since shifted my thoughts on this.

But for a mag focus this is probably what I would run for skills

I've been experimenting.. the whole pvp thing I haven't really got to yet.. BUT as I said experimenting but with my darkelf who get stamina from passives, it's not all that bad but the more damage you do the better , that being said highelf you dish out a ton quick kills.. let's hope so lol and the right armor for sustain and defense .. there's a passive on the sorc skill tree that ups the shock damage and physical which is very nice for a rush in and zap your enemies my darkelf is level 16 now and when I rush in and unleash the heavens I kill instantly / depending on what kind of mob.. that being said highelf would have more sustain and more damage and you're really only using rush from the 2h and swing it around a few times it's an AOE weapon it's nice.. going from foe to foe my darkelf barley manages / BARLEY.. Breton would be another option but the damage would be low but you can spam more. The race is complex uo to you but I figured running a highelf for more damage is worth it... I just haven't figured out the cp nor the gear set.. even though cp shouldn't really change much just instead of staff attacks you put it in your resto/2h and boom mini god lol.. it's a work in progress.. the only reason why I haven't done this yet is because I haven't deleted a toon yet to try it out.. I will tomorrow first thing but all in saying right now if it's working out with a darkelf it'll workout with a highelf too
