Help with a Vampire build.

I'm looking to create a Vampire build that's more thematic than effective but effective as it can be. I want to use as many of the vampiric skills as possible and use mostly leeching/sapping skills. I'm assuming a Magicka Nightblade would be best suited for this yes? Any help on this would be much appreciated, thanks.

WhoThenNow7✭✭✭I think magblade fits the theme best. Also, there is a set called vampire lord that adds spell damage and reduces cost to all vampire abilities. You could combine that with any other set of your choice.1 -

✭Dont, it sucks. I tried one on mag nb and it's just meh. Your best bet is creating a toon with alot of ult regen and alot of reduce ult cost. If you want to make a vamp I really think you need to run a magsorc, they have a passive that reduces ult cost. Pair that up with like dragonguard armor and vamp lord, you would need to run snb for heroic slash and the drain morph that generated ult. Is a siphoning build that does dps while healing you not viable at all? I was thinking about a build something akin to a Blood DK in Warcraft and how it's mechanics are mostly based around siphoning abilities like Blooddrinker, Consumption, Blood Plague, Death Strike etc... Not possible?

Tiphis✭✭✭✭You can try making a “sap” tank build which would be kinda similar to wows Blood dk. Its not really that effective but its do able. Altmer Magblade, 5 Fortified Brass, 5 Seducer, 2 Bloodspawn. 7 light armor. Sword and Shield and resto staff. SnB bar: Soul Harvest ult, Swallow Soul, Sap essence, Lotus Fan, Refreshing Path, Invigorating Drain (ult gen, I think). Resto bar: Bat ult, Merciless Resolve, Mirage, Dark Shade, Cloak ( or elusive mist), *Deep Thoughts or Siphoning Strikes or Elemental Drain*
Costumize if need more regen or damage, you can use the psijic order ult for minor protection passive instead of soup harvest but bats will be up less. Deep thoughts is nice for regen but elemental drain wil get a little more dmg done. Take either the mag regen or spll dmg mundus, whichever you need more. Orzorgas frothgar is pretty decent, alot of health and alot of mag regen. But as an altmer, wearing 7 LA, and sefucers and if you use frithgar you will have alot of regen because siphoning skills cost alot. The build will be pretty tanky and damage wouldnt be bad, it also requires no farming except for the bloodspawn.
You could also go destro staff but youd lose some tankiness and gain damage so whatever you want.1
