Name another company who does this?

I've played every game you can think of.
plenty of games offer seasonal exclusives to entice players.
Christmas skins, Chinese new years, Halloween

The thing is, all of these are yearly returning. If you miss the Christmas event, you know you can always get it next year.

Zenimax is the only company I've found who has released an exclusive item for a couple days, to NEVER bring it back ever again.

Someone help me. Who else does this?
Zenimax help me. What is the logic behind this?
Who is in charge of this decision? What is their name?

Not sure what items you're annoyed about, but the seasonal stuff returns like clockwork every year. Same things over and over again, perhaps with new additions.

My guess is he is talking about a crown store item that may have not returned during the same holiday. Since OP was rather vague no one can really response appropriately. He might actually find out what is up with whatever he wants if he said what it is.

Also, Zos is not going to name whoever makes the decisions about the crown store. No company in their right mind would do so.

OMG, LOL. You talk about seasonal items and even talk about that in relation to holidays yet you link something that clearly has nothing to do with any holiday. That is just a house.

You might want to reword your OP to bring some clarity.

It is widely known Matt Firor is obviously the head guy. He is the president of the company. Anyone who can find Google can figure that out easily. However I seriously doubt he makes every decision since that is not the job of a corporate president.

As long as the game is still live, 'never' hasn't happened yet. And, besides, they have brought exclusive items back.......the dro-m'athra senche being one of those items.

You should make a more specific angry thread like "I want Tel Galen back in the crown store for Morrowind's anniversary!" and hope some marketing person sees it accidentally.

Who cares. New items are introduced every month. Get one of those and if they ever put back in store a past crown exclusive, buy it. They won't give you an ETA.

Your information is incorrect (often the case with absolutes).

1. Zos has brought stuff back to the crown store. I have the Pumpkin Spectre Polymorph and I did not get it the first year it was out.
2. They have brought other items back though some have only come back via the crates.
3. Many companies do not bring everything back.
4. I was telling you who the top guy was in Zenimax. He is the one responsible for every decision made. Take your issue up with him.

How could you possibly know it will be soon, if there is no ETA.

Soon, no ETA is a common statement here in ESO since it is something Zos has said before, on more than one occasion. Even Zos has used it in humor before.

They may bring back the house you want, they may not. Heck, they could bring it back in a different manner than they did originally.

Housing has only been out for maybe 20 months so it is a little premature to say they will not bring back a house. However, I would expect they will only bring back best sellers and at that they may choose to pressure people more with limited time only homes. Increases the push to get them while they are available.

It's a badly worded thread and title OP hence you not really getting the answer you want.

Holiday stuff does come back round, in fact many of us would prefer it NOT to be repeated and have new stuff

Reading the thread through seems like you are just annoyed about missing one house. Rather than a wider issue.

Demanding a name at ZOS won't really do anything. They have their reasons. I'm sure if you creat a more specific thread, maybe a poll to bring back the house you want and help show ZOS in a more positive way there might be something in it for them to bring it back etc etc

BTW many companies do short term limited sales of items to build peak interest / excitement. From burger companies to games.

ZOS is very unpredictable in this respect. Some crown store items stay up indefinitely, some are removed and then return (either at the same time of year or seemingly randomly), some only come back in crown crates and some have never been available again after their first time.

For example the Noble Suit has been sold in the crown store continuously for years, but the Chef's Outfit was removed and has never come back. The Soiree in Camlorn evening suit was on the crown store, then it was removed and put into crown crates. And the Elven Hero costume was sold for a short time and has now come back on sale, again for a limited time.

None of them are holiday or festival outfits and only the Elven Hero costume was advertised as limited available when it was released. I don't know of any way someone could have predicted in advance which would be sold indefinitely, which would return periodically and which would never be seen again once they were removed
