Question is: Why now gold food doesnt require perfect roe to craft? This is a big let down for magicka, unless this new reagent costs almost 2k a piece, the clockwork food is massively more expensive.

Umm, Gold Food doesn't NECESSARILY require a perfect roe to craft. There has been gold food since Orsinium: Orzorga's Smoked Bear Haunch that didn't require perfect roe. Don't expect every gold food to require that ingredient. Yes it might be different between mag and stam here but to say that 'gold food has always required perfect roe to craft' is false.

I'll do a straw man argument for this sake alone: Umm, Gold Food doesn't NECESSARILY require a perfect roe to craft. There has been gold food since Orsinium: Orzorga's Smoked Bear Haunch Hissmir that didn't require perfect roe. Don't expect every gold food to require that ingredient.

@Qyrk The smoked bear recipe does need ambrosia, just checked it. Hissmir whatever is the only one i recall that doesnt.
As I just noticed, its actually 4 stat food usually needs roe, and those are usually gold, this new one apart
Oh, my apologies if i was mistaken ...rafaelcsmaia wrote: »
Also im not worried on advantages, as I play both mag and stam, Im raising an honest question about the simple logic in provisioning>
.. but to me this looked like a thread pushed by the sudden fear of facing a new (perceived or true) difficulty/disadvantage introduced by a change in the game. Sentiment that is probably behind the creation of half the threads in this forum.Question is: Why now gold food doesnt require perfect roe to craft? This is a big let down for magicka, unless this new reagent costs almost 2k a piece, the clockwork food is massively more expensive.
This issue ? which issue ? Do you have a crystal ball or have you built a mathematical model to predict where the cost of materials needed to craft this food will stabilize ?My intention was to bring attention to this issue by some ZOS people
