You seem to have accidentally made everyone in Ramimilk immortal. How am I supposed to murder the same 7 people over and over and over for a buttload of treasure to sell to the fence now?

And still no guildhall functionality? What is wrong with you people?

He is correct all the "previously neutral" NPCs in Ramimilk have been adjusted to be core NPCs (green tag not yellow).

However, even though they are green none of them can be interacted with in any way shape or form.

Please fix this as it was the one really good location to work pickpocketing skill and generate gold on a sneaky toon.

Yes, there are other ways that generate gold much faster but this provided fun to those of us who enjoy the sneaky side of things as well as some gold in our pocket without being limited to one or two good daily quests.

I don't like fishing... and most of the other methods for making money involve greedy overpricing of things. I personally think that item flipping is pretty messed up. Zeni should make motifs and such, for example, far less horifically difficult to come by.

I built my guildhall with Rami, and I know a guy who relys on it for the stations he wants to set up in his. Zeni: GIVE US MORE MURDER SPOTS

It wasn't an exploit. It was a zone with a rotation that was perfectly timed to an improved sneak speed.

    It was by design.

No Quests there. Mobs were pickpocketable as well as killable and if you did it right you came off with no bounty.

It was a sneaky training ground.

    So... yeah not an exploit.

it took a month of grinding it every day on 2 characters to buy a half decent house, and another few months to get the stations. I've grown to hate Ramimilk (mostly due to all the stupid people that inspired the "how to gold grind ramimilk like you're not a f**king moron" youtube video, but it's really useful when necessary. I was almost done with it til jewelry crafting, now I need 3 jewelry stations.

If only master writs that paid more than 4 vouchers dropped more frequesntly from doing crafting writs...

Patch notes did not say anything about this and because the NPC's are marked as core NPC's by the green nameplates and cannot be interacted with (such as talking or selling etc) I am continuing to see this as a bug because with the way it is now it is no more than an empty dungeon with no purpose whatsoever, where it had purpose before.

it is a real shame because doing Ramimilk well becaume an art form. Did you see that perfect kill run? It was a thing of beauty. And people were fianlly starting to understand how a 1-killer team was most efficient.

Now, instead of people going to Rami to do their murder grind, towns are gonna be littlered with dead bodies instead :-/

It sucks that they f****d it up.
Exploit? Maybe. But what do u expect from a game that needs an enourmous amount of grinding and it makes it a nightmare with few rewards? This is by far the slowest progressing game intentionally made to be long to keep ppl online and paying subs. So yeah I'll use whatever mean to power level or to skip unpleasent grinds. Jealos much that ppl got a way of getting gold? Or should all be just flipping prices? That is not exploiting, right? If anything that should be banned. Say rule 1# u can't sell something at a higher price than the one u payed for. How does that sound for a ballance of an exploit?
As said, this was a cleaner way of getting gold than exploiting ppl by flipping prices. Look at what high prices some items got...is that fair? I have unfairness in real life, no need to pay 500k gold in a trial for a dagger to some jerk. No need to pay some several hundreds for motifs, recepies etc...it is a game that I already payed for...I should enjoy playing it. Not grind 99.9% of it.
Again yes, I'll use that exploit to my benefit without making other players miserable. If prices were lower nerfing ramimilk wouldn't have been a problem as it wouldn't have been a grinding spot in the first place.

I’m not happy with this change, but also was reading this topic and I see a lot of people is giving erroneous information here.
Please let me explain about Ramimilk and I hope someone can give ZOS the right information.
So, like many of you I started farming Ramimilk after that Kevduit video where he shows that place.
I’m sure this short story of my first day there will explain everything –

I got there for the first time, and one of the mages noticed me killing his buddy, so I had to kill that mage too. I was surprised that I dint get a bounty and tough this was a bug, and of course tried to abused it a little. What a surprise I took when I teleported back to Rawl'kha and saw that 15k bounty on me :D

Resuming: Was the place bugged? Yes, it was, and no one never fixed it. I think that’s because a lot of people where there and tough that somebody will report it for them. At the end no one reported.
The bug was a leak of bounty interface, you always get a bounty there like in any other place, even the right gold amount (tested with Thief Tools). But the bounty icon is invisible until you change zone or exit Ramimilk and reload UI. Homestead had a similar bug, when you teleport back your home and the bounty icon disappear. That was fixed btw.

Now, was Ramimilk a real gold abuse? In my opinion – no. Let me explain why.
My NB have everything to make illegal things in Tamriel profitable.
Passives, Legendermain maxed, thieves guild, gear, etc.
With all of that, and some luck, from 140 fence slots, I was getting 17-20k in like 30-40 minutes. Don’t forget that is the maximum daily amount and you cannot get more till it resets.
Sounds a lot for you? Is not. In one hour I can make more than 35k for example in Winterhold. Assuming that the place is almost empty and I’m getting all the chests. With luck I even made an easy 50k really fast.
Back to Ramimilk, an average person without maxed thief skills will get from 5k to 15. Again, with luck for blue – purple items.
Of course you can get a nice furniture soul gem too, but the average price is like 200-500 gold in guilds, so I’m not even counting that.

So now, do you still think Ramimilk was an abuse? It was just different. Actually I was sure ZOS make it that way to show players how to do justice group content and work in synchronization.
If you want to nerf it, just low the respawn timer a little. I agree, they respawned faster than an average NPC. Actually a lower respawn time will force players to organize the kills better and cooperate more. Isn’t that good?
Also, keeping players in Ramimilk minimizes the killing spree in towns, that could ruin the experience a little for other players.
That’s all I wanted to say. I hope this gets somewhere.

You know, Ramimilk wasn’t just a farm zone, it was something relaxing (yes, yell at me for enjoying praising Sithis) with some music on and cool people in group to chat with.

it was extremely difficult a lot of the time to get people to work together, especailly when that meant one killer on a perfect pattern and everyone else just loots where the killer isn't killing. There's always that one idiot who just has to pickpocket, or snatch a kill, which de-synchronizes the kill pattern.

I've been kicked from groups a few times when I tried to get the disorganized kids to let me sort out their whack-a-mole clusterfrak. Of course, a disorganized group against me... the well practiced, fast efficient, killer... they soon ended up having to leave coz they could hardly get any kills in (Nightblade Orc). HA. Serves them right for not working with me. I tried to explain it would be faster and easier for everyone but they refused my wisdom :-P All they had to do was re-invite me to group and they would have shared in the loot. More of it too.

Of course, sometimes there were good groups, which became more frequent, once they saw how much better the right way was. Not "my" way, you understand - I mean the fast and efficent way which is clearly the right way. And on rare occasion there was another killer as good as me and they were kind enough to do the work.

    ...I miss Ramimilk...

I'm not sure what you consider high value drops but in Craglorn, in front of Dragonstar Arena, you can murder and steal from most of the NPCs there and there are no guards. By the time you finish murdering the last NPC, the first one is respawning and you can start all over again. I ran up a 40,000 gold bounty when I went there.

While breaking the initial spawn would net you a bounty if you got it on rotation you could clear the place without adding any more to the bounty.

By the time I spent 30 minutes in there the initial bounty I received would be gone. (If alone and left to my own devices.)

exactly! a 40k bounty is no small amount, compared to Ramimilk bounty when which was usually anywhere from a few hundred to 3k maybe at most 10k if you were either not careful or in a group of people who either wanted the fight in there or who didn't know how to use their blade of woe. :(

There was definitely not an "exploit" going on. Many people were not into the Ramimilk rotation and said it was too "boring". I mean, isn't selling stuff in the game for outrageous gold prices more exploitation?

Ramimilk offered time and effort to not only get gold but raise levels in useful skills such as Ledgerman!

This is a pretty big SUCK as far as I'm concerned! There is SO much to do and learn and gain and do and do and do in this game, it's time consuming and there are a lot of people who get frustrated with other players who are not at their level, Ramimilk offered a good way to help people level up, learn and obtain gold.

    They should offer something similar!

as long as other players were smart enough not to screw it up, I could just do a perfect murder pattern and they could just reap the exp and loot where I wasn't killing... of course, there was often that one idiot who's attitude was "shut up you're not my real dad". Those who saw me in there a few times knew they were better off just letting me do the killing. I remember one guy coming is and asking "where TF are all the NPC's" :-P
