PC/Mac Patch Notes v4.0.7 - Visual Issues not Addressed

I was really hoping to see some mention of this being resolved in the patch notes but I guess from looking at the Bugs forum there is quite a lot to attend to since Summerset was introduced.

This is relevant as my normal parking place for all my character is behind the banker in Rawl'kha.

Since Summerset was introduced there are a number of visual issues with the Rawl'kha area.
  1. When behind the banker an you hit Esc to get the log out option then EVERY TIME I am either given some blue sky image or an image from where I was last.
  2. Sometimes when you come out of the Bank all the buildings are gone, you just see NPCs and players. There is a place near to the guild trader opposite the bottom of the bank steps where if you pan your camera the houses come back but as soon as you move they are gone again.
  3. A similar situation occurs too in the Outlaw Refuge, the rooms and the entrance tunnels are shown but then all other structures are not there.
  4. from the equipment writs board towards the tavern steps there is a place just before the steps where you are ALWAYS now slowed down.

    I had this happen for the first time yesterday. There was stuff (people/critters) floating over my head. Was pretty cool but, of course, shouldn't happen.

    I have been playing this game for many years, after each patch download completes I do the following,
    • Close the launcher
    • Re-open the launcher and run repair
    • Close the launcher
    • Re-open the launcher and run the game
    It may sound a bit tedious but this is not a perfect system :)

    As for Shadows, why would I change that?

    All my video settings are on Max.

    I find it more disturbing that the micro stutters are not fixed yet.

    I've had issues with shadows resulting in missing textures; changing the setting resolved the issue for me, which is why I suggested it.

    I never got this myself. But since ZOS did many drastic changes in this update, I have deleted:

    usersettings.txt

    and

    shadercache.cook

    The game recreated these, you will need to fill the settings again, but it was worth it. Lots of new settings came with this refresh in usersettings.txt
