Those who don't grind Skyreach - summerset patch

Did your spots change with the last update, xp wise?

I have two places I always go to because they're not crowded and the circle is easy to zone out on. I'm levelling a new character the other day and I compared my xp gain with a previous screenshot I had and it looks like it's been reduced almost by half. Anyone else feeling this with their spots?

I know it wouldn't be surprising, given the history of grind spot nerfing.

I hear skyreach was nerfed and summerset dungeons give good xp, I don't know bout the second statement tho, but skkyreach feels like it is giving less xp

they nerfed skyreach a very long time ago, there are 2 other places i grind exp unfortunately i cant share because Zos like to ruin exp grind spots for no good reason and hates puppies and rainbows and happieness

best i can say is one is a good place to get atro trophies and one is a good place to farm beetle scuttle

it's unfortunate that they nerfed Skyreach because it least it was instanced and not an open place where players grinding would be a nuisance to people who just want to enjoy the game. Since there has been issues with people grinding in quest areas and other open areas who then act like it's their own private grinding spot, there is a very good reason to nerf those spots. Technically this is a misuse of those areas as they weren't intended to be anyone's personal grinding spot, and other players are sick of being harassed about "leeching XP" and the such just for having the audacity to be in an open area at the same time. Grinders are cancer this way and honestly, if ZOS are countering their efforts to claim open areas for their own, then good.

I agree, skyreach was a perfect spot because it didnt interfere with other players. I know they nerfed it because they wanted players to level slowly or thru questing or whatever, some tho (myself included) really enjoy going thru quest when im max lvl. I dont have to worry about finishing lvling, exp pots being wasted, the draw backs of training gear etc. its just go thru enjoy the story, sure its not incredibly challenging but for anyone that wants a challenge they are free to go thru the story quest as a lower lvl.
