Why did my guild bank deposit disappear an dwhere do I go to get my money back?

    I run a large guild on the Eu server and this happens often. Today it happened to myself. Put in 100k in one guild and 300k in another. The 300k didn’t show in history but left my balance. Recorded and watched back and took screens. Wrote a ticket and they told me to report in this section to. It’s happened with items to not just gold deposits sadly

    This just happen to me last night PS4/NA. I transferred/deposited 100,000 g from my main bank to my guild bank and it just disappeared as if I never had it. 100,000 may not seem like a lot of gold, but to me it is! This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed/fixed immediately.

    I have submitted a ticket, but with the Memorial Day weekend--doubt I will hear anything.
    Also the ticket system does not give you enough characters to actually explain in detail the issue you are trying to get help with.

    I submitted a ticket and Customer service was quick to resolve my Gold Deposit issue; however, they deposited the gold into my PC account and the issue was on my PS4 account. Hopefully the gold can get moved to the proper account.

    I am happy and grateful that they resolved the issue so promptly:)

    Do you want the money you spent buying the game software refunded to you? As far as I know, ZOS won't refund ESO Plus subscriptions, or purchases of Crowns. ZOS also will not refund Crowns spent to "buy" a Crown Store item.

    Or do you mean that you want the missing Gold Pieces replaced? Good luck with that!!.

    In my experience, the Customer Support decisions as to whether to replace missing Gold Pieces have been arbitrary. They don't care whether any player doesn't like their decision to not replace missing GP, and have even stated that in their written decision.

    In such a case, the Customer Support staff prefers to refuse to concede that the evidence submitted, and the outcome of their own investigation, proves that Gold Pieces disappeared. They refuse to explain why the facts are as they are -- whether because they cannot explain why the facts are as they are, or they are forbidden to either investigate or disclose what they might know about them. Instead, either they assert that they cannot confirm that the disappearance happened (when the evidence is staring them in the face). Or they concede that the evidence is valid, but simply refuse to replace the missing GP. There is no appeal.

    So: we are left to consider whether to continue playing TESO, knowing that Gold Pieces can disappear from the Bank account, or from a character's Bags, at any time for no reason at all. Either accept the risk that all of your time and effort to acquire the Gold Pieces has become a total waste, or don't play the game.

    In my humble opinion, obviously it does not matter to ZOS that your character cannot buy a Crafting Style Motif, a Homestead, or anything else, because the GP to pay for it disappeared.

    If that did matter, then ZOS would investigate the disappearances, find the cause(s), and correct the error(s) in their software and/or in the megaserver system which cause them to happen.

    Instead, the disappearance of Gold Pieces has continued to occur from time-to-time, varying in amount and in the particulars of each incident. It has continued for at least the past seven months, since I began to suspect that something was wrong, began to investigate it, and started reporting it. I have yet to be informed of any efforts to find and to remedy the problem, and, as far as I know, ZOS has not publicly acknowledged that it exists.

    That said, the problem might not be caused by human error. It might be caused by deliberate changes to the software such as ones that embezzlers make to steal money, inventory, or services from an employer. Which is to say that the Gold Pieces which disappeared might have been illicitly transferred to the Bank account for another player's characters. Another possibility is that the software might have been deliberately created or altered to simply delete GP, with any of several motivations for an employee to do that.

    These possiblities are not outlandish. Not after you've had personal experience in discovering why "things don't add up" in various processes of a few accounting and inventory control systems. Enough said.
