Question about Heavy Attack

Hello.
I haven't played ESO since Morrowind came out, now with new "expansion" I got back to my good, old Dragonknight.
I was wondering if to respec to more Magicka build but I have one question - Is my assumption that heavy attack with anyting except staves restores Stamina?
So if I want to build DK with mainly Flame abilities and use Dual Wield or 2H all my Heavy Attacks will restore my Stamina instead of Magicka, yes?
If yes then it's just stu... limiting... and I'll just start Warden from scratch...

✭✭✭✭✭Yes, if the weapon is a stam based weapon a HA restores stam. Currently I do not see any reason for a magicka based character to use anything other than staves for DPS in PvE or PvP and may be a reduction in DPS to do otherwise.Edited by idk on May 28, 2018 10:06PM0
