VMA Round 7 Wamasu

Bit of background here, I have flawless conqueror on my magicka templar, nb and sorc.

I've been trying to flawless on my stam nb.

Last might I had no deaths until I ran into the wamasu in round 3 of stage 7. The damn wamasu and his undodgeable lightning missile and oneshot lightning balls.

Any tips on killing him as stam?

As magicka, I would just shield up and bomb from range. The oneshot bubbles are easy to avoid when far away. Melee is a different story. To make it worse, he permasnares me, making kiting of the oneshot lightning bubbles pretty hard to do.

If the 'lightning missile' you're referring to is the first attack he always does, it is very much dodgeable. As far as avoiding the lightning bubbles just give him some room when he stomps his feet unless you think you can nuke him before he gets it off. I also like to fight him close to wear he spawns because if I don't dodge his first attack that snare is brutal and leaves you susceptible to getting hit by poison flowers.

Yeah, that 'missile' is the first thing he does when he spawns in, so just dodge roll it and burn him down. If you've taken too long just move away slightly and strafe left or right, the balls split quickly after the cast.

got flawless on stam way back at about cp350 and it's absolutely dodgeable.

trap, hail, and caltrop the portal. once he spawns can prob do 2 surprise atk before he shoots. it's not as telegraphed as a heavy atk but it's still very recongnizable so you can time the dodge very easily. he shouldn't even shoot out lightning circles after that, should be dead real quick tbh.
