Jewelery Writ Loot

Today i did 8 max level jewelery writs with more or less the same loot i got for the 7 level 1 jewelery writs (except of platinum instead of pewter) . Am I just unlucky? Yesterday it was the same. I spent a lot of time and gold to level 8 chars to 50 in jewelery, but after a few days of writs i am really not sure if it makes sense to do the writs. The loot for the other writs (sewing, blacksmithing, woodworking) is so much better and the are much cheaper and easier to make. What is your experience?

What kind of jewelry writ rewards are you expecting?

The loot for max level writs I’m getting are in line with the other crafts:

- Platinum Dust for refinement
- Intricate or Ornate CP150-CP160 Rings
- Jewelry Surveys (occasional)
- Jewelry Master Writs (rare)
- Swift jewelry (for research or trade to other players)

If you’re disappointed about the number of improvement platings needed to improve the quality of jewelry (e.g. from purple to gold), that’s a well-discussed topic already.

Most players agree platings are too much of a grind (including this player) ... but that’s separate from the writ rewards which I think are fine.

I have done nearly 120 max tier JC writs since launch and only have obtained 2/10 of the lesser legendary mats its so rigged.

The fact that barely a week after launch you are able to level up 8 chars to max level in jewelry says a lot about how not rigged the system is. These things are supposed to take time and require some effort. Only that way the grind is gonna be any worth, so in my opinion ppl should not be rewarded beyond normal or reasonable.

Well I have 13 max tier JCfers now but I just used gold to buy the materials to level my alts only the initial first time one costed the most, but the horrible rng needs improvement bad though

Agreed. There is a blacksmith hireling and the nodes are shared so give us a jewelry hireling.

I get Intricate or Ornate CP160 jewelry from my level 1 characters with no passives and Intricate or Ornate CP150 jewelry from my level 50 character with all passives. funny

This can happen on the other craft writs as well. It appears that the writ loot is affected like nodes are 1/2 Character level and 1/2 material passive levels.

My <L50 alt crafters doing Max tier writs can get all at character level or a mix of both when doing all BS-WW-Cloth.
