Do I have to do something special to see lore books in Cyrodill?

I have checked like 4 places where some are supposed to be and they are not there. I'm so confused.

purple-magicb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭Silly question but are you sure you haven't already found them? Do you have dlc? I only ask because all of the lore books found in Cyro can also be found in various dlc. ✭✭The lorebooks in cyrodiil are the same as those found outside. Some are overland lorebooks, some are dungeon lore lorebooks (i.e. those that you find in group dungeons).
If you have read the same lorebook outside of cyrodiil that is supposed to be at a specific spot, it will be gone.
Aside from the region lore books (e.g. glenumbra lore), the three factions also have the same lorebooks. Meaning, if you cleaned out AD, the only lorebooks you will find in DC and EP are the region specific lorebooks.
As far as I know, there are no region specific lorebooks in cyrodiil. That means if you have cleared AD, you will only find dungeon lore books. If you also cleared all group dungeons, you will find no more lorebooks in cyrodiil.Edited by Leandor on May 24, 2018 3:12PM2 -

✭✭✭✭✭There is one lorebook that's a bit hard to find. It's in a non-descript cave half-way up a waterfall north of Cheydinhal.
But as others said, most of the lorebooks can also be found outside of Cyrodiil, so make sure you haven't already found the ones you are looking for.The Moot Councillor0 -

Right, I haven't confirmed all of them (I shouldn't have said all) but I know a number of them can be found in dlc if not all. Just something else to double-check on.I don't comment here often but when I do, I get [snip]0 -
fgoron2000✭✭✭✭I haven't been able to confirm it, but I'd been told that if you're in Cadwell's Sliver or Gold, that books which appear on the map, from the Lorebooks addon, are actually not there, as you may have already picked them up in another alliance. It's apparently a bit of a bug in the addon.

Sounds more like Map Pins, which is not dynamic. "This add-on do not use any map librares, it works directly with ingame map, so it is fast as possible."
I used LoreBooks for a long time. I'm currently in Cadwell's Gold and I have never come across duplicates. Unfortunately, LoreBooks is out of date with the Summerset patch and not being maintained (as of this post).PC NA0
