✭✭✭✭✭Are you looking for particular content, like PVP or PVE, group or solo? The reason I ask is because sometimes its more useful to have penetration or sometimes you'll overpenetrate with group buffs so the higher weapon damage is more important.0 -

Hard to answer that definitively, but as a general rule I would say the second one. Increasing penetration is generally your best way to boost damage. There is effectively a hard cap at 18.2k in PVE and diminishing returns as you get close, but at those penetrations levels, its more important than your damage stat. In PVP, it really depends on your targets resistances. If they only have 7k resist, well, first one is better. if they have 9+, second one is better.Edited by Oreyn_Bearclaw on May 25, 2018 8:59PM2 -
The answer is definitely based on PvP or PvE. PvE generally has less resistance, so having less piercing and more weapon damage is best. PvP players tend to have as much resistance as possible, so a higher penetration is what you should aim for.0 -
