Frost staff question

If I perform the following rotation will I taunt an enemy due to destro staff passive?

Pet sorc build:

LL - LA- blockade (with a frost staff) LA - (Bar Swap to a lightning staff) LA - Pet - LA - Deadric Prey - heavy attack - heavy attack

    Yes taunt is via heavy attacks

    Even if the heavy attack is with the lightning staff? Dropping blockade with a frost staff and bar swapping to a light staff and heavy attacking will still taunt?

    No only heavy attacking while current weapon is frost staff with the passive will taunt.
