Divine prosecution is exclusive to collector's edition and nobody cares

I love how people complained for the pyandonean motif being exclusive in the crown crates but not for the divine prosecution style being exclusive to the collector's edition.

Don't get me wrong, I am against both of these practices and believe this stuff should be available in game. Hopefully Zenimax changed their mind for the first. What about the second ? will it be available in game ?

It's not a motif though, you can't craft anything in the Divine Prosecutor style. You can only access it through the Outfit tab.

Also there are crown store exclusive motifs. Frostcaster and Harlequin can only be accessed through crown store.

How many things have ever stayed exclusive in this game? Be patient and it will show up elsewhere, though probably in a crate.

I'll be exclusive for like a year. Then it'll be released on the crown store as a package, just like with the Imperial CE and Morrowind CE.

    No big deal.

No one is complaining *now*. You missed the threads when the information about getting the Imperial Horse was new. More than one about how unfair, overpowered, pay to win, spitting on anyone who didn't buy the imperial edition, etc, etc, etc.... Even when people pointed out that the imperial white horse was just a horse; it didn't have uber stats, wouldn't be better than the gaited horse or the stamina horse after maxing the feeding, still had to be trained with apples/hay/oats every day and wouldn't be exceptional even after you maxed out all the feedings people still complained. Apparently the fact you got the horse without paying the 10k gold meant you were going to win everything in the game. Or something.

One, its an outfit style, just like the Imperial and Morag Tong conversions. Not a motif.

Two, after some time, ZOS added the Morag Tong Motif as a rare drop from dailies. Same thing will probably happen to the Divone Prosecution. CE owners have to get the motif same as everyone else to craft it.

Three, if you really want the outfit stsyle and not the motif, wait a year for the Summerset DLC.

Tbqh I think most people were upset about the pyandonean motif being exclusively locked away behind a horrible gambling system that half the ESO community is vehemently opposed to. There's a big difference between paying money for a guaranteed set of cosmetic items and paying (typically more) money to be at the fickle whims of RNGesus for a particular item you want.

    Apples to oranges.

That's where you're wrong, kiddo. You might as say that nobody has a right to complain about P2W. Folks can complain about any shady business practice that they want.

Ok. They have right to complain, but their complains do not deserve any attention.

If stuff like this isn't exclusive to a collector's edition, then what exactly would be to motivate buying such an edition?

If your argument is that game's should not have collector's editions that's one point...

But if you want the things in collector's editions to be available outside of them... then I have to strongly disagree... IF we are going to have a collector's edition, then it also needs to be worth buying.

And to that point, ESO has one of the cheapest collector's prices I've ever seen. Only $10 more to get collectors... that is 2 latte's at a Starbucks, and without the police showing up to arrest you for using the restroom... so it's a pretty good deal... There's really no reason to NOT buy collectors EXCEPT for it possibly having everything in it also available outside of it...

And yet they do get attention. Pyandonean is in the game by fishing because players complained. Cosmetics are also ZOS's cash cow. Whether or not complaints about cosmetics deserve attention, it makes business sense to pay attention.

OP, Pyandonean was behind real money rng. Anyone can pay a flat amount to get what they know is in the collector's edition. Also kind of jumping the gun since it's likely an actual motif will make its way to the game in another update.

Wrong again! There's no reason to make cosmetic issues lower priority than other issues. People care about cosmetics, and their complaints deserve attention.

I'm not complaining because I expect it to be added as a motif at a later date. If it isn't I'll complain then.

the problem with Pyandonean motif is not just that it was originally crate only, but that it was split into pages. that is what pissed off people the most.

that said, I do think that divine persecution MOTIF should be available in game, with CE style having the same functionality as other CE styles - allowing us to change to it without extra gold cost.
