Sorry but the new guild quests are awful, repetitive, tedious, and lazy as hell.

Jump from loading screen to loading screen running/riding from A to B over and over, press E and then repeat 50+ times....

Is this the best anyone could come up with? Bundled with the restrictive grind fest that is jewellery crafting, traits that force you into one area of gameplay to find them, I can not understand how anyone could find this fun...

For jewel crafting it's no different to any other crafting profession really. Just seems like a grind with most of us already being well into CP and cleared the world. If you look at it like say woodworking, it's no different. They take time and effort to level. Just do it as you quest etc and it's not as bad as it seems. If you want to get it to 50 asap then it's going to be a grind fest.

I agree with the psijic skill line though. Why they didn't allow the quests to give you xp for the skill line, no-one knows. Having to travel the whole world to close rift after rift gets tedious very fast

It is not how they did it, it is how you did it.

The quest doesn't say keep running from wayshrine to wayshrine pressing E or something. You (i mean we all) do that because we have a guide and we want to level it fast.

Quest originally is meant to be done while exploring Tamriel, and nobody is keeping you from it apart from your own rush.

You could simply take the Augur and take a long walk, staring at the skies or something. What you did was your decision to grind it fast.

Also the quests were real good, i loved the Augur so much that i didn't want to leave it at the end.
I also love the part where Josajeh gets exiled and we go to see her before she leaves. Standing in the tower garden sadly, watching the sky. I just took a moment of silence to stand and watch with her.

I actually enjoyed it. Since I got into PvP quite early on, there is still a loooooot of open world that I have never explored! (this was my first time going to Alik'r!) It was nice to see those new places and I might go into more open world exploring now.

New skill line is great, apart from the Symbiosis morph of Mend Wounds not healing me at all! Tooltip says 50% but nothing

Still can't decide if I should stick to my main MagBlade or keep going with MagSorc, as I will return to PvP with my Psijic skills very soon for sure!

I have all zones %100 as well and yet quite enjoyed the quests. You guys are not providing anything but complaint. It's a way easier grind than Mages Guild/Undaunted/Fighter's Guild for those who want to level it fast, and i'm quite satisfied with the questline as well, can't know about you.

And this one is gonna be the first and the last answer i give to an all complaint comment. Offer something, do something constructive or mind your own stuff.

You assuming a lot there, I am not trying to grind anything fast.

I am simply just doing the quest as normal, I have the wayshrines because I played the game for years. I am not rushing it.

It is just TEDIOUS UNIMAGINATIVE REPETITIVE LAZY CONTENT. Take out the running from A to B and pressing E..... well that's 99% of the guild quest content gone....

    That is terrible design.

My issue isn´t each individual grind ZOS added, it´s the sum of them all this patch that bothers me. We´ve a absolutely horrible grind for jewellery-crafting, which was supposed to be more of a QoL change. New psijic skilline is tedious and too repetitive. And tbh, it´s more enjoyable to level mages guild/fighter´s guild skilline than psijic one.

For some reason ZOS decided it was a good idea to add more RNG elements with this patch. Trying to get clams/pears? It´s not even a 100% change to find any of those materials when looting the adequate node. Imagine looting a freshly spawned columbine and knowing it´s not 100% chance you get a columbine? Adding RNG to material harvesting is horrible design...

I´m ok with grinding in an MMO, and my complains has zero to do with "entitlement". Some grinds are bearable, but ZOS overdid RNG and grind this patch and I hope it gets nerfed into oblivion in a near future. It´s a game after all, not a job or my secondary source of income.

I have to agree on this one, the closing the rifts one is just repetitive and boring for the sake of being repetitive and boring.

In principle the idea sounds good, if I was sitting around a table in a planning meeting "going around the world" could sound pretty good but in testing it very quickly gets "meh"

Each zone should have had something unique to it.
An example? Some of them should have been in people`s houses that you would need to break into and choose to sneak&hide or murder your way to your goal.

Some of them could have been guarded by world bosses and others could have had little side quests to get access to the tear.

Is that the Psijic grind? It's so terrible, its the worst MMO content since vanilla wow, the Thieves Guild dailies are not nearly as bad as that. Dunno how someone actually thought, when designing the Psijic grind, that it was fun and engaging content.

    Assume more.

You are stereotypical. You see a post about someone not liking the game for x reason and then you go and tell people how they should enjoy the game and when they dont agree you think they dont play the game for the right reasons (your reasons).

This person didn't like the game for x reason. They are allowed to have that opinion. You keep telling people they are complaining or "raging" but you are here having a sook about how they dont enjoy the game for the same reasons as you.

How about you go enjoy the game since you are the only person who truly plays it for the right reasons.

Oh also (edit) people can complain about anything they want without having to add any suggestions or constructive rubbish.. this is not kindergarten..

10x better than the dark brotherhood and theives guild leveling system. How is completing one quest to level up per level 10 times tedious? or lazy?

Everything in this game is repetitive beyond certain things.

As for the the whole thing you litterally just do one linear quest. The only same place you go back to is artaem realistically.

I mean what, would you rather have the skill line totally free from effort?

I made a thread about the dark brotherhood and theives guild systems in the same manner as you've made here and in comparison this system they've used for the psijics is 10x better.

Its not a grind. It litterally takes like 20 minutes per quest if you just do the quest and if you want the rifts exact locations then just use alcasts cheat sheet on his website.....he has map images with all the exact portal locations.....

at least your not going back and forth every 20 seconds like the dark brotherhood and thieves guild.

Concur that it's boring. There are no interesting fights save the last boss, barely any interesting NPC interaction (as someone pointed out in another thread, while the Augur is somewhat entertaining they could have had it making snarky comments during more interesting content just as easily), no new places to explore, no new lorebooks, and the plot climaxes because the Psijic in charge of the whole thing is an idiot. No interesting puzzles. Nothing to make me feel powerful, or clever, or particularly skilled, in spite of the fact that we're dealing with a reality-warping artifact. Nothing to make me feel anything other than increased feeling of contempt for the Psijic Order.

I gave up the Psijic grind after I hit level one. It's lazy.

ZOS knows that they have this cool, brand new skill line. So, they need to make it "difficult" to obtain so that not everybody has it right off launch. The issue is that this isn't difficult. It's tedious, and they know that. Why wouldn't they? IMO this is worse than Mages guild. it's annoying.

Lots of players these days wants everyting for free or fast without any effort, i call them lazy. Jewelry crafting isnt that hard, when ESO launched the other crafts were much harder then Jewelry crafting is now, the Psijic skill line isnt that hard compering to the mage guild line.

Maybe for the lazy players those skill lines will be added in the crown store someday, but for now you have to do something for it or ESO is just not the right game for you.
