Do I have to be a prime member to get twitch drops? Is there a specific stream I have to watch or anyone streaming eso? Sorry, I never heard of twitch until recently and had to ask

I don't know about ESO (yet) but in TESL you have a notification under the video being streamed, something like "Twitch drops are active!" in green.

EDIT: going to check it right now and post a screenshot

You do not have to be a prime member to get twitch drops. You can get them by watching specific streamers, which ones is unclear, at least I have seen no official announcement or list. You should see a green message saying "Twitch drops are enabled" somewhere around the name of the stream (once that stream is open).

I'm hoping that we will get an explanation of how and which streamers are chosen for the drops, but until now there has only been the "There will be a process that is not random, but the details are still being finalized. We'll be sure to let everyone know ahead of time, though. " from Gina.

Maybe I'm not seeing some announcement or something.

I just noticed and joined into the Yogscast stream around 6 minutes before their stream ended with twitch drops enabled, didn't get anything. Really sad.

Most of games require you to stay online for hours...

Once again it comes down to vagueness. They should have just said that in the first place. I highly doubt the average viewer sticks around for more than an hour naturally.

Yeah, at least on The Elder Scrolls Legends one drop comes every 8 hours or so.
So you can go enjoy RL and leave the stream on if you really want to get a drop...

Alcast doesn't have drops enabled. Was it a rumor?

Or the drop was acquired on other stream from hopping. I have no idea, I didn't get one yet (usually I don't watch ESO streams).

They were using Kevduit's stream as a sort of beta test for the drops, not sure when the "full release" of the Twitch drops is going live. (this is just what I learned from watching the last 30min of Alcasts stream last night).

According to gina, you only have to stay a few minutes to be eligible for drops, its random of course, but the chance is the same and you don't have to keep on watching, though she said you can to support. You can get one per day.

It’s kind of ridiculous if one has to stay online for as long as they are expecting... they are giving away virtual boxes... not cash money...
