Try elegance set + willpower lightening staff + willpower necklace and 3 infallible aether + ilambris monster set + overload ultimate
Alternatively baharas curse set might be worth a look

IA would not be a bad choice either. Since the Lightning Concussion nerf, the 5 piece comes in use.

I would only consider moondancer for a sustain heavy rotation. No good reason on a pet sorc IMO. I do think the stars have finally alligned to make this set usable in the right hands and the right group. You used to need a DW templar to pull it off, but now anyone can with a staff and jewelry. I like this idea because a set that only needs to be front barred is useful for sure (like acuity was).
Infallible aether (as someone mentioned) could be an option, but only one per group is needed. I think this could be really strong solo. Again, nice because only needs to be on one bar.
BSW and Mother's sorrow seem to be the new "meta" choices, but Julianos is certainly viable as well. BSW is spell damage heavy and MS is crit heavy, so you can make up for what you are missing by mundus. I saw an MS staff in training go for 440k yesterday, so maybe not the best immediate option. The drawback here is that in a perfect world, these would be double barred, and I dont think you should drop a VMA Staff backbar.
I think everyone is going to be running Siroria on just about every magic toon once people get their hands on it.
For what its worth in the meantime, I am going with Necro/BSW on my sorc and Julianos/BSW on my mageblade (front bar BSW staffs, back bar VMA) until the dust settles a bit. I think Necro/Siroria is your ultimate goal, but not totally sure on that yet. Again you have the problem of both wanting to be double barred if possible.
