Can login, but infinite loading before character select

Hi ZOS tech support. I posted in a thread earlier but it was more about launcher issues. My launcher is fine now, and I can boot the game and login just fine. I enter my password and it logs in, bringing up the first of the art splash screens... but this is where it stalls forever. I left it on while I took a shower and made breakfast earlier, and the loading screen was still just spinning. I already did one repair, already closed the launcher, already disabled add-ons by renaming them to addons.old and the other one. I left home for a few hours and it's still the same.

The only weird thing I noticed is a few minutes in, the art splash flickers for a brief second every 5 or so minutes. Anything I could do? Thank you.

Same issue here. I can log into PTS no problem.

Had this problem, tried about 7 different solutions all failed. Finally spent 3 hrs uninstalling(terrible system) and then reinstalling. worked then.

Yeah, only re-downloading another 60GB+ got it to work. What a waste of bandwidth. Thanks shadyjane62.

Yeah I have the same issue as well as some of my friends. I have waited for up to 5 minutes and a friend of mine has waited up to 10 minutes before having to force close the game. I never had this problem before this current patch. This thing happens pretty often as well, maybe once every 30 minutes, and can be infuriating when you are doing dungeons or trials and miss out on a boss!!

This can happen on basically loading screen from my personal experience as well as from the experience of others that have ran into the same issue.

This patch has claimed to reduce load times across the game but with these stupid forever load screens it might as well be pointless. Hopefully it is only something that occurs during the Summerset launch or it gets fixed...
