The Redoran Crafting Motif will be available for a limited time on all platforms from May 17 to May 21 at 10am EDT, and costs 5,000 crowns.

Outfit Change Tokens

An Outfit Change Token is a voucher for one free Outfit alteration, redeemable at any Outfit Station.

Outfit Change Tokens are on 50% off on all platforms from May 17 to May 21, and cost 200 crowns.

Outfit Slot Upgrade

Each purchase increases the number of available Outfit Slots by 1, up to a maximum capacity of 10.

Outfit Slot Upgrades are on 50% off on all platforms from May 17 to May 21, and cost 750 crowns.

DYE STAMPS
Intense

The Intense dye stamps are available on all platforms from May 17 to May 24 at 10am EST and cost from 50 to 100 crowns.

This sale is why Outfit Slots were 1500 crowns to begin with, so that they get sales from everyone who wants it right away and will pay top $$$ for it, then they can have a sale and 750 crowns for an outfit slot for a single character looks almost reasonable.

Nice marketing, ZOS, but I'm still not buying them. If they were account-wide, that'd be a different story.

Not necessarily motifs but I'm referring to some of the items sold that are consumable or character specific like the outfit reset, etc that doesn't impact the economy. (Meaning no one can obtain or craft those otherwise)

In my view you'd want to also encourage players to log in and do stuff which should align with your promotion on log-in rewards at the release of Summerset

If they came down to 350 crowns like they were on PTS, then maybe. I wouldn't mind adding a casual outfit to the field fighting gear I've set up. But so long as they are character bound, 750 is still beyond the pale (for me -- I do not presume to speak for others who have a lot of money and play ESO as their primary game). Costumes will work for casual.

THIS! Please don't be fooled by this "sale" they are still 2x more expensive then they should be at 750. This is exactly what they wanted when they priced it at 1500. They knew no one but whales and fools would buy it at a price of 1500 (or $15, per char, per slot) but this "sale" makes it looks wonderfully prices in comparison. "Half off? What a deal!" Even though you're still paying considerably more than any other company would charge for a similar product in their game. Twice as much at 750 at the next most expensive competitor. 5 times more expensive at the least expensive competitor. Don't give into their plans. Prove their financial department wrong, force them to lower the price further! Don't give in! You've waited this long you can wait a bit longer!

I won't buy a single outfit slot until they are bellow 400 crowns each. Ideally 350 or bellow. I won't participate in this. You finally introduce a much desired feature and charge $15!!! per slot per character! That is insane! and then have a half off sale so now you're charging $7.50 it looks like such a good price in comparison but in actuality its still over-priced.

Being charged real money to use assets I already "own" is never going to fly with me, at any price. I'll buy the occasional costume I like and maybe dye my weapons but outside of that I will not participate in the "outfit slot" abuse. Thanks but no thanks.

On another thread, another player said that the capacity was 10 Outfit Slots per account, spread between all your characters. That can't be right, can it? In a fantasy MMO like ESO I would normally have about 8 slots per character. So 10 per character would be enough, 10 per account would be ridiculously inadequate... except...

LOL! Yeah... no. That's not happening. I wish ZOS's Crown Store people was only as greedy as EA's. If ZOS's ESO outfit slots were the same price as EA's SWTOR slots, they would be 240 crowns per account-wide unlock. And if they accounted for players having to buy all unlocks once for EU and once for NA, they'd be 120 crowns.

So, no, until the price drops down to an absolute maximum of 150 crowns for a single-character outfit slot or 450-500 for an account-wide outfit slot I will not be buying even a single outfit slot.

As long as outfit slots are so avariciously priced... I've stopped looking at the Crown Store altogether. I'm done with the Crown Store. I only buy content through the web-store and in-game items with in-game gold.

ESO has an awesome dev team and a nice community team. But whoever the grinches running the crown store are? They need to go.

Sorry ZOS. Per slot/per character is still unacceptable, even at 50% off.

Since the Outfit system deployment I have not , and will not, budge on buying any slots at your current outrageous pricing for them.

A real shame. I probably would have bought all ten slots by now, if they were account wide.

If each outfit slot purchase were account-wide, I'd probably have maxed out by now.

But 1500 (normally, 750 is a "sale") crowns for one slot on one character? Costumes might cost that much, but hey, I can use those on ALL MY ALTS.

Do they not realize that amount can buy a full dungeon DLC pack? You know, something with actual content?

I was so hopeful for this outfit system, and it is nice. I can finally hide those hideous fixed styles for dropped sets and those ugly as sin monster sets.

But the pricing for a SINGLE SLOT on ONLY ONE character being 1500 crowns is absolutely insane. I will not be buying a single one on principle, sale or not.

Just my personal point of view.

Wanted more outfit slots. Thought they would be somewhere in the vicinity of other MMOs. Weren't even close, even at 50% off.

Result (and ZoS can look this up): Totally turned off from CS completely, still have 100% of Crowns from recent ESO+ rollover and not a single desire to spend even 1 crown.

ZoS CS marketing is completely living in the clouds at the current time.

Nice going ZoS.

I bought 1 750 slot from my monthly crown instalment but honestly guys, if you want people to actually spend money on your game beyond the whales who would probably just give you an IV drip into their bank account if you asked, I'd suggest making the slots account wide and refunding anyone who has bought all of them already. Chalk it up as a 'gross error of judgement which was corrected through the benefit of hindsight'. Its *** disgusting to think 1500 a slot per character is acceptable.

I'm not for anyone losing their job but whoever thought that was okay needs to have a long hard think about how they view consumers. as the current price point is utterly contemptuous towards a very loyal player base.

Consumers are not cash cows that can be endlessly milked. Eventually they get pissed off and go find something else which offers a 'rewarding experience' without the endless siege on their bank accounts.
