Just have to express my vast adoration for the transmutation system. I didn't think much of it until my group struggled through four billion wipes to get me my Selene's mask and the damn thing dropped with Training. In the old, pre-transmutation days, I would have thrown my monitor out the window and smashed my computer with a chair. But ha, no, I just marched my happy butt to the transmutation station and fixed it. Suck it, RNG! I know you tried hard to screw me, but ZOS had my back!! :P

Perfect example of the benefits of the transmutation system. The only downside is it might promote laziness in game (the grind is all but gone now), but that is a minor gripe. 0 -

swippy✭✭✭✭✭i also want to vote "YEA" for transmutation. my nearly-9-traits-across-the-board crafter has transmuted more armor than he's crafted for himself. i use that thing all the time. before transmutation i was restricted to overland sets because the voice communication required for running dungeons is exhausting to my half-deaf head. now my healer is finally running SPC and i'm having so much more fun. i know the dungeon runners are proudly Undaunted, but that ***'s still daunting to me. now it's just a few runs and then i get to equip whatever my new dream set is.
for me, Transmutation turned a pain point into a rewarding experience.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I would have quit by now if they didn't introduce transmutation. The worst grinds were vMA (or any weapon farming) and monster shoulders. I just completed 2 full monster sets for Summerset with 50 keys thanks to transmutation. That would have taken me 500-1000 keys in the past.Edited by MLGProPlayer on May 20, 2018 10:09PM0 -

I'm still working on the shoulder because since the RNG couldn't screw me on the helm it's taking it out on me in not giving me the shoulder. Rgggh.0 -

FIrst off, grats on the helm...I know how much of a pain that dungeon can be on Vet. Second, 4 billion wipes?? I think you're exaggerating a little bit. There's only 1 mechanic you need to completely avoid - Selene's special, which is pretty easy if you know where to tank her. **Hint: it's not in the middle of that room...0 -

✭While the whole idea of transmutation is awesome the grind for the crystals and the need for 50 per item is a disaster. It's just too many for an item, a single crystal we get from single dungeon, meeh. I have 14 alts and could use of thosands crystals but no, I was able to gather just 24 and counting +1 +1 +1...PC EU (PL): 14 characters. ESO player since 06.08.2015. It wasn't her special that was the problem, it was all the adds that just kept adding, and adding, and adding, and adding. Once we started pulling them to the middle to attack along with her we did okay.0 -

My inventory was so overflowed with transmutation geodes I was literally finding excuses to use them. My latest excuse: Made a new build and purposefully bought the armor in all bad traits only to transmute it to impen and other good traits. The geodes were clogging up my inventory so I had to find an excuse to use them.0 -

A definite drop like a Helm is one thing... I've been grinding Selene's for weeks trying to get a Durok's shield in ANY trait. No laziness here, but the frustration certainly is building...
