Hello boys and girls, I was just thinking about this Rings of Mara and of course i don't know anybody who would be using it , so here is my idea to make Rings of Mara viable.
Once when you use the Rings of Mara with another player, you are able to share the BOP/ Bound items between the two (except the VMSA and maybe the monster helm and shoulders) everything else can be given to them.
I know quiet a few players that have partners and they would love to share the items they don't need and give it to their partner. Or even give it to their best friend to help them out. So what are your thoughts?
Ps maybe we can have that it can only be given once? Make Rings its only once account based , but i kind of like the sharing items ....so in my case.... what is mine will be hers .... just like real marriage lol

I played one MMO where the 'wedding rings' did this. One ring could be used to summon the partner to their location. The other ring could be used to heal the partner at the expense of a portion of their own health. Once used there was a one or two hour cool down timer.
They wouldn't have to be those specifically, but some unique abilities that could be useful in certain combat situations and/or in exploration.
Maybe one could buff partner's weapon/spell damage by X% for Y min at the sacrifice of user's weapon/spell crit chance by X% for Y min with a cool down of Z min
The other one could negate all costs for direct to wayshrine travel for the user thus allowing the partner to travel to the user via group/guild/friends list for free also. Lasts X min with cool down of Y min.

I would also like it if RoM gave my RL husband the ability to co-own/decorate housing with me. Binding accounts like this could effectively flip a toggle that would allow the accounts to share items typically non-sharable.
However, this should be a one-time thing or cost A LOT of gold/crowns to cancel out of because it shouldn't be something done lightly at all.
Also, linking your account with another should give both players exactly ZERO recourse when it comes to having things stolen/taken/sold.
Giving the hubster access to my house (real access) and to BoP items that are more useful to him than to me would make me want to wear the stupid ring and give up that jewelry slot.
Currently, the XP boost is NOT enough to warrant use of the ring.
Specialized romantic emotes might be cool too. /cuddle /smooch /nag /browbeaten etc.

The ring should instead be a repeatable what for RP marriages with no link to the crown cost. There should be an NPC who assigns a very reasonable gold cost based on the white, blue, purple, etc quality of such a ring for RP-PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf

1) Given a 3rd, exclusive, ring slot, so people can still use sets.
2) EXP bonus should stack with ESO+
3) Give a stat bonus to Armor and attack, call it something new so it stacks. (based on the theory that a married couple in a
warrior society would be more efficient fighters)
4) You only get these bonuses when your partied with your "spouse".
5) These bonuses are character bound not account. Gives you the option to have these bonuses with other friends not just
one person
