just wondering if steam or the launcher will allow us to download the patch prior to the servers going live or if well have to wait till then

BoloBoffin✭✭✭✭✭When they release the patch, the launcher will automatically start the download. So if you have your computer running and the launcher going, you're all set for the earliest possible download time.
My experience is that once the patch downloads and installs, the servers are up and the game is ready to play. Only a couple of times have I gotten the patch and the servers not be ready to go once it was all done.Been there, got the Molag Bal polymorph.0 -
LartenCrepsley✭✭✭Normally yes. Leave your launcher open and it'll start the download before servers are open.

ty to those who answered it a proper way and were not sarcastic. i know its "up when its up", that wasnt my question, i wanted to make sure i was taking the right steps to have it prepatch whenever the patch goes live, weather it was when the servers game up, or prior via leaving steam or the launcher open.0
