I did suggest a cost of approximately 180K - 250K gold per motif book; I could sell my writ vouchers for that, but would then have to hunt around countless traders to find a reasonable price, wasting more of my time I could be enjoying other activities.

I also suggested the requirement of already knowing the full motif on the purchasing character so that those who do sell motifs are not stiffed by the addition.

I also suggested the item be bound on acquire so that the gold books would not flood guild stores making motifs less valuable.

This change would increase the market for sealed writ vouchers I assume and possibly get more players interested in crafting.

This is a simple Quality of Life Improvement for players who craft on multiple characters.

In all seriousness, your proposal sounds reasonable because you're not asking for characters to automatically learn (no accountwide achievement type thing) and you've suggested a high writ voucher for them in-line with other motifs only after one character on your account has earned the achievement for the whole style. It feels like a decent compromise.

I don't think that any dungeon motifs should be included in this as they are quite hard to obtain and, other than BOP monster gear, about the only reward other than achievements that people who run those dungeons on Vet HM can earn. If they want to make some gold from selling those pages, seems fair to me.

I don't think it would harm the motif market as much as people might be worried because you'll still have players that haven't gotten all the pages of one, or players that are running their alts through content (like CWC) and earning pages that way so won't want to spend the vouchers for books especially if they already have some (I personally refused to buy the glass book because I only had 4-5 pages left to learn so went out and bought all the pages I needed pronto), and players that straight up won't want to spend the vouchers because they're saving them or using them for other stuff.
