    Nah..
seems like it's not really "crown exclusive" if it comes from other places like cash purchases (Chapters).

or did you want something like Dragon Bones to be presented with an additional Collector's Edition that also includes a unique house? then it wouldn't really be "crown exclusive" it'd be DLC exclusive. and if it was sold with a non-unique house it might not be "crown exclusive" either.

i think your idea is not presented clearly.

    In my opinion....

Houses (not all) but let’s use the limited house for sale now in the old DLC

I personally feel that a house of that level should be afforded to anyone who previously purchased a CE bundle or CE chapter if a home is later introduced in that zone

I also personally feel that houses should unlock temporarily for those who have an active eso plus subscription. If it lapses access would go away

It’s interesting to me how they over monetize things like the houses which could instead be offered within their desired method which is a subscription.

All these posts on add X or Y cause ppl often say eso plus is only used for the crafting bag. I think there’s a lot of ppl who sub for the bag but also who sub for crowns and dlc.

i "personally feel" that there's a reason they decided to leave that can of worms on the shelf. what happens to the furnishings that might have been placed in such a disappearing house? do you also lose access to those? so that the subscription is holding your items hostage? what if they were purchased with Crowns, like one of those furnishing packs? i don't think it would go over well with people who lose access to spent money for not spending more money.

the alternative is setting up some weird limbo for furnishings from no-longer-accessible housing, that will surely be exploited as extra storage space while wasting server resources.

it doesn't sound like a strong idea yet.

Obviously we all want more free stuff.

People complain a lot about Zo$ charging ridiculous amounts for things, but generally I think they have made a good choice in not overcharging for dlc.

Keeping dlc affordable let's more players enjoy it, and the collectors edition are a little more expensive but generally give 2 new collectibles more cheaply than the crown store.

If these Pricey Dlc houses came with the collectors edition then zos would have to increase the price of the collectors edition by a huge amount - I wouldn't want that.

there's plenty in the collectors edition as it is, no need for more.

I think this is an excellent idea.
EQ2 has included a special house with their expansions for years now. It doesnt need to be the crown exclusive houses though.
Morrowind couldve come with Tel Galen included in the CE.
Summerset couldve come with a proper walled manor in the countryside
Thieves guild/DB/Orsinium couldve each come with an apartment in the associated city

If they bump the prices a little? Sure, why not? We get something cool for the extra, and new players are given a unique house for when they get started, if they want to get the CE.

I would definitely support this scheme for future chapters/DLC.

agreed. if it was just a Collector's Edition addition it's an awesome idea. you buy a bunch of stuff on hype for the new thing and you get a special house along with it, that sounds amazing. it'd add value that would keep paying for at least as long as the region is useful, and longer if the property is beautiful.

i only dispute tying it in with the "crown exclusive" concept. that detail's a disaster.

You want a house (which size? Manor?), a mount, a pet, a style and some additional stuff for paying 10 bucks more.

Tomorrow I'll visit the Porsche store and ask if I can have one for 10k. Imagine his reaction and relate it to ZOS reading your poll. And no, I don't want the CEs to become more expensive as not everybody is into housing like us.

$10 vs $10,000 is a huge difference though.

The only way I see getting an exclusive house for a ce is to make it considerably more expensive then it now is. You already get extra stuff if you buy it examples pets mounts and the like. Manors are generally an 80 to 100 dollar value on their own and while I like housing I just don't see it.

I'm indifferent as I don't buy the CE of DLC (only expansions), however it wouldn't be "free" if they did this. They would up the price to cover the lost sales revenue from the house being Crown Store exclusive.

    Careful what you wish for.
