It's legal to do that in New York city, and other places around the U.S. are looking into making that change as well, but it's not Federal nor widespread. Majority of the country still views that as Indecent Exposure.

Yeah, I think it was Colorado or New Hampshire that I was reading about. I knew NYC was allowed because of Bruce Willis’s daughter going around topless a few years ago.

Just as a tiny fun fact: I'm pretty sure this is the exact statue you can see in Anvil's cathedral since Dark Brotherhood's release, although I have to be honest I didn't check/compare them yet.

And yeah, as someone from Germany I'm always amused if people complain about such details. Bare shoulders or even full nudity in a joke, not a real problem here. But if there's a 5 pixel big Swastika on some random texture that's used once in the game…

the thing is, throughout history men are the ones labeling them as "must stare", and man was in charge of most ruling including religion up and till recent times so when a man decided "you no what? we shouldnt be broadcasting them its filth! plus i never get to touch them and i keep staring!" and bam, thats how the catholic and christian churches began making it a thing in society not just "cause he told me to hide them"

yes this is the blunt version of history but religion is the main reason nudity is so frowned apon in the last 100 years or so years, the romans were fine with it, to a degree, hell they made ART of it that we still house TODAY.

my personal taste? i dont give no crap about it, if i NEEDED to see it i'd just hit up an internet browser or go to a special corner club in my local city, why nudity has to be portrayed at all in mature content i will never know, its just flesh and meat.

onto the gore, humans as a species are naturally aggressive and war has desensitized many, most people most popular games today have war as the main theme, think many people would if blood was removed? sadly yes because a "good game will killing needs gore", i'm not even joking this is the main argument i can see being a thing.

I've always thought ZOS wouldn't "free the ***", mainly because of the sizable young portion of the playerbase, but there it is, easily seen on Dibella's statue. Bought the pack for the statue as Dibella has been most of my character's religious affiliation going back to Daggerfall
was expecting the arm to be melded to the chest; was pleasantly surprised that they did not go totally arbitrary with censorship

a tasteful addition to my home; just wish the pack had been cheap enough to warrant purchasing for multiple houses
