Would it be feasible to grind AP with two Alliances cooperating?

I need the Akaviri and Militant Ordinator motifs for my crafter, but the amount of AP required means I'm going to have to do a TON of PvP grinding to get the amount I need.

EDIT: Turns out what I was suggesting was "keep-flipping" and it's against the rules. So...nevermind. Are there any allowed strategies that can also provide good AP?

That was already done. The (in)famous Bleakers roleplay.

From that time ZoS has officially stated that keep flipping is against the rules. The worst offenders were banned and AP was stripped from them.

This is called "Keep-flipping" and can cause you to get banned, so I wouldn't advice this.

This basically. ZOS has changed their stance from „clever use of game mechanics“ to „it‘s an exploit“. Rightfully so, I might add.

In July the midsummer mayhem event starts. If I recall correctly, the boxes had akaviri motifs. That will be the easiest way to get them. Or paying gold to a pvper with tons of ap.

Ooh, I just looked it up, and apparently not only can the chapters show up, but the whole book has a chance to show up too!

I'm not likely to be so lucky, but if this is true, then that means I'd be better off saving my AP and using it for Militant Ordinator instead. Akaviri motif chapters are also likely to go down in price in guild stores for the duration of the event too, so if I save my gold, I could farm the boxes during the event, and use the gold I've earned to buy the chapters I didn't get.

Thanks for letting me know about this event, I'm going to make sure I make the most of it.

Ways to get good AP quickly

1. Play Battlegrounds, you get decent AP whether you win or lose,
2. Follow a zerg in Cyrodiil, light attack all the enemies, heal all the allies you can.
3. Wait for Midyear Mayhem (probably in July) for double AP and a chance at akaviri motifs in the reward boxes, and use either 1 or 2.

Mind you, getting the amount of AP you need is still going to take a lot of time. Personally, you might consider whether its easier to earn the AP or the gold. I PVP and farm regularly and still can get the gold quicker than the AP.

This. You'll also probably have a decent chance of finding Akaviri motifs still for sale relatively cheap from the previous event, as some people don't know what to price them at and/or are just undercutting rival vendors.

Glad you made that edit @Azurephoenix999 as flipping / grinding AP is not cool at all. In fact it ruins the honor in Cyrodiil and is a bit of a plague on Xbox EU at the minute.

Just get into PvP, tagging a big successful group can get you plenty - or just get into BattleGrounds, it gives great AP now for what can be 5-10mins play - summer event will give you double. forget 'grinding' tho - just enjoy earning it.

Akaravi are all over stores now as where common drop in event.
