I think this will hurt a lot of builds, but I think its fine, that one set was in almost every build now.
Good think I just switched to TFS an Morag Tong on my StamDK
I didn't craft it, I just stayed with Julianos & Hunding since it didn't seem like a huge improvement to the classes I played; those builds already have 55-60% spell critical and 62-68% weapon critical, and mostly rely on DoTs so would have not gotten much of a boost, even in the current, not-yet-nerfed state.

Seems you can never go wrong with those 2 sets as your base gear.

Well, the Mechnical Acuity set allows me to use magicka skills and ultimates effectively since it also boots your spell crit to 100%. As I said, it wont be an issue since I weave a lot.
I always find it funny when they nerf the flavor of the week sets. What did you think was going to happen when you copy everyone else's build? Think outside the box or accept the nerf hammer, up to you.
it's not nerfing the set, it's making it way less usable by PVEers, since they use dots and aoes. in PVP it'll still be op because most attacks are direct.

Some of us were thinking outside the box when we started using Mechanical Acuity. It took a long time for it to become popular.

Anyone who uses aquity in pvp is clueless.. for 1 you can never crit on someone wearing a damage shield and 2 a 5 sec proc is nothing considering there will be times it procs while in defense mode then boom 15 second cool down ..
Trash set in pvp good in pve.
