ZOS have offered players a way to get free stuff for very little effort, naturally players complain. Classic.
Oh I get it, you wanted something for nothing and ZOS to have zero gain from the entire process. Sounds reasonable.ZOS have offered players a way to get free stuff for very little effort, naturally players complain. Classic.
Wrong. ZO$ have offered players a way to get a chance of getting free stuff, with little effort that directly translates into advertiser revenue for ZO$.
Sprinkle a bit of FOMO onto that, and pressure to buy ESO goods from Twitch for more crates, and you've got yourself a pretty obvious cash grab.

Yea I guess you're right, it's really shameful to promote the game and help support streamers by offering a chance at an exclusive and free reward. Clearly players need this mount in order to enjoy the game Fancy Mounts Online. The most fair approach would be to either guarantee the mount for viewing a stream or selling them for $50 to those who can't be bothered to view someone's stream. Don't even get me started on how insulting it would be to get any of the free stuff other than the mount.ArvenAldmeri wrote: »Oh I get it, you wanted something for nothing and ZOS to have zero gain from the entire process. No, we want 100% something for other 100% something. Not 100% something for probably like radiant apex mount % something.
Put the mount out for 50 bucks and I pay it without questions and complaints.
Wait a minute... what Twitch Crate?? I'm a member of Twitch Prime, and I got no alert for this, and I check there pretty often to see if I have any new rewards... so, what's this about?

In fact as compensation for this outrageous insult, I'm thinking free mounts for everyone!
Aren’t most of the ESO streamers’ viewers, already playing ESO? How does pushing your player base to watch a streamer playing your game for a slim chance at getting a prize, instead of actually playing your game, help populate your game?
Play or watch. I guess they could log into the stream and ignore it while they play. Anyway, it seems like yet another “exclusive” mount I will never have. Pretty much expected.

Another very good point. Its very much play or watch for me as I dont have a powerful expensive PC to take both stream and game at the same time.

I had a gtx 555, a low end i5, and 8 gbs of ram, you don't need fancy to watch a stream and play a game.

Chance at free things that cost you nothing but loading a stream. Where does the greed fit in here?

Let’s be real, maybe 1 in 1,000,000 people will get that mount from a free crate. The entire purpose of this is to squeeze more money from players in a way that DEMANDS more irl money be sunk into it. You can’t use ESO+ crowns to buy these crates, nor can you use any of the crowns you may have bought on that sale to get these 1 in a million chances at some stupid rare mount.
How do you not see how little they value us as customers?

You are completely missing the point. And other free stuff? You mean crown consumables that are as any other crown consumables gonna end up in a trash? Because they are completely useless?
